Didn't you break "no kill" objective ?
It's possible to disable it.

I don't know if there is a way in there, but there is a zombie laying on the floor. I tried blowing up the gate and threw a mine in by accident. When I exploded it with a fire arrow, I heard the zombie moan, thus found out he was in there. I would think there should be a way in.

Where is this elevator that has 4 buttons as shown in the pictures shown in Philflound's letter. What's absolutely confusing is that the second picture is referencing the other elevator, the one that I AM familiar with (spider at the top).

Yes. I read that post. It's not helping. That route takes me outside to a ridge and a beam that leads to another building (baby crib on the level below). That's "The Poor House" isn't it? Either way, there is no elevator there.
If instead of crossing the beam you walk along the ridge, you come to another grate, but that doesn't lead anywhere I haven't been before (jumping over the statues...been there, done that). It leads to the waterfall, which I've already covered (sneaky way to the sewers already found)
In the other direction, the ridge ends but you can see a warehouse door covered with 2 planks. Is that accessable?

No, Martek's directions are right. After climbing the ladder & making the 1st jump (& getting to the place from which to access the waterfall) turn south & make another jump between statues, then turn west. (The Poorhouse is farther south).
Oh, & I never found a way to reach the boarded-up door in the warehouse, but somebody might have.

I looked in dromed and there's nothing there.
