In case this helps someone ......
In the starting area (in the water), my fps was 5-10 (and occasional crash to desktop).
Reason is because T2 HDmod was enabled.
After disabling the HDmod, my minimum fps (outside) is 30-35 which is playable.
In cam_mod.ini, I put a semi-colon in front of my old mod_path, and added a new mod_path
;mod_path hdmod+hdmod\t2skies+ep2+usermods+patches
mod_path usermods+patches
Thanks for the mission, nicked! I will play it now.

Good tip, I've added it to the first post. Thanks!

Actually it works by teleporting in replacements for everyone, whether they're knocked out or not. Bit of a brute force approach but it mostly worked.
It worked very well :thumb:

Thank you, Nick, I just finished playing the mission. Great atmosphere (especially in the mines!), interesting visuals, and challenging objectives (so challenging that I had to look for one hint in this topic :D).

Not sure exactly which bit you mean, but the first thing I would suggest is to make sure you have new mantle enabled. It may be a mantle that is impossible without it.
Orfeus21 on 31/3/2019 at 11:53
the one in the mines when you find the bride on the bed read the diary and then pavoni appears and chases you and you jump into the crate to find yourself in the pool cavern and the only way out is to climb the edge and go where to female zombie patrols
in the meantime i edited new mantle and it worked! i thought i did that years ago but i guess after updating thief the cfg file has to be edited again!
Its when Garrett suddenly says :now how am i gonna get out of here! But for me it was because i couldnt climb out the pool not because the zombie patrols!

I'm really enjoying this mission so far, but I've got a question about the piano puzzle. Specifically, the FADE one. I assume I'm supposed to hit the F A D E keys at the right of the piano in sequence with the F, A, and D keys as sharp? Well, I've done that numerous times, but nothing's happened! What exactly am I supposed to do here?

The piano puzzle is hard for me too. I used Ricebugs walkthrough to do it. It has pictures of the keyboard and what keys to hit. I can tell you that if you look at the keyboard you use the last 5 black keys on the right side. FAD is black keys and E is a white one. I have no idea what a sharp key is or anything. Thats why I cheated with the walkthrough as I know nothing about pianos. I sure hope this helps. If you are doing it right then you have a bug and hopefully its just getting the latest scripts thats needed.

My old notes for the mission say that on Normal and Hard difficulty, I used the six-letters code D, E, C, A, D, E to solve the piano puzzle. Some readable said that. Another readable mentioned the four-letter F, A, D, E combination. Maybe that works only on Expert. I didn't check it out.
