I enjoyed that piano puzzle. Below is how I figured it out without knowledge of piano keys. You do need to know something about scales and how the note in a scale should sound (do, re, me, etc.).
The logic I used is like this:
1. The clue says, "remember, the lowest key is a C." This tells you where to start.
2. The notes in the C major scale are CDEFGABC (the "do" note C repeats an octave higher).
3. Not knowing anything about the above, it can be deduced by playing just the white keys in sequence, starting with the low C noted, and hearing no sour notes.
4. The C-major notes, the white keys, continue up in the same, repeating, letter sequence, CDEFGABCDEFGABC, etc. The black keys are sharps or flats.
OK, maybe it isn't so easy, but you don't need to know much about a piano. :)

It says I have to kill Pavoni but how do I get back to him, I have the sword , but if I go back down to the vault from the attic of the bedroom, it has a gate across it blocking me.
Nevermind didn't realize I had the mine key. :p

Thanks for that incredibly enjoyable mission, definitely on my "top ten of all time" list !
Finished with 3632 loot & 4 secrets, but there's one thing I don't get about the stats :
Why only 4 secrets ?
I definitely found the following :
- gallery
- 2x piano
- 1x money above balcony
- 1x moneybox high up in cave
- fertilizer vine
all of them doublechecked by revisiting later
- what secret(s) have I missed, which of mine didn't count ?
cheers,
Cooper

There is one in the crypt. Look for a lever on a beam above a sarcophagus. I don't think the gallery or the vine are secrets.

I think your missing secret can be found
high up in the room with Clastor's tomb.

... and the prize goes ...
to jiansonz !
thanks guys, your help is much appreciated ! :thumb:
and even those two secrets I missed were exclusively my own fault - in fact, everything about this stellar mission was absolutely fair (but not too easy on expert imho), not to mention big fun and scary in some places.
One of the best in my book !
Cheers,
Cooper

I have a save game with the disappeared body bug. I had left her in the crypt just behind the door that needs the key from the sixth night. After getting the sword I went back there and the body had disappeared. Looked in DromEd and it was still at the same X and Y, but had sunk a few meters into solid.

How strange! I've still been unable to reproduce the issue even after many plays and with lots of saving, reloading and moving the body to different places. I'll take a look at the physics dimensions and see if there's anything untoward there - all I can think is that the collision detection is failing somehow if you get too far from the body or something. Accursed bug!

This mission is absolutely awesome! However, I am having the same issues as others are experiencing the undead/zombies underground, and Marianne. They all disappear when going down to get the fire sword. I wanted to go down in the mines again, and give them a taste, but there was nothing there.
Congrats on this release, and all the testers you had. :) :cheeky:
