Need some help in Mission 3. I have scoured the gardens looking for the Armory key. Please tell me where to find it.
In the garden (not the tombs area), there is a stairway up into the building where you find the armoury itself. There is also a fountain there. Now, imagine you were walking down these stairs.
Continue into that direction, past the fountain, until you arrive at the rear wall enclosing the garden. I think there is a patch or strip of grass along the wall there, probably elevated. The key should be lying in the grass there.

baeuchlein, to my rescue again. Thank you. I had been over that area earlier, but failed to spot the key. I will look again most carefully.

I'm playing mission 3 now. I just poppped in to say that I don't think the AIs should be able to spot me in the pitch black. There isn't a glimmer of light showing on my light gem and they see me every time. Most annoying.
Just my 2 cents worth...onwards with the game..tallyho!
Quick question: Is there a specific tomb where we leave the copy of the sword? I don't see any tomb highlighting

You have to
leave it in the vault which is in the barracks (the building next to the cathedral).

I'm doing Part 3. I am short of loot. I am having such a hard time getting around, if I hit Crt+Alt+shift+end to finish this part, will I be able to continue to Part 4? I don't want to miss any missions because of loot shortage. Unless there's a big cache somewhere and I've missed it. The vault is cleared out too. I am short of 95gp

On Expert, it's not easy to find enough loot. I'll list some places I missed at first.
Somewhere in the High Priest's room there is some kind of loot.
On the highest level of the cathedral's tower, you find a bell tower. There's something up in the rafters. Use a rope arrow to get it. There's also a balcony nearby with a patrolling archer. On the balcony's railing, a bottle awaits your greedy hands.
Still on the highest level of the cathedral's tower, a few coins rest in a bowl. I think it's in one of two small rooms with statues in it. Finally, in the center of this level, in the room where the Hammerite with the lamp doesn't patrol, there should be yet another piece of loot.
On one of the tombstones in the graveyard on ground level (not the haunted tombs below the cathedral), a hammer should be found. Another can be spotted lying near the base of another tombstone. In the cathedral nearby, on the same level, there is a small room with four extinguishable candles. Two tables there hold some kind of loot as well.
In the catacombs below the cathedral, there is a grave in the wall with a fallen off front plate. Some trinket lies in there. Another tomb, this time one in the floor, has been partially opened, revealing a golden hammer.
Close to the catacombs' exit, a small red spice bag lies in the Hammerite kitchen, close to a water arrow in a bucket.
In the hidden keeper base, in a dormitory, a coin stack (located between both central beds) and two keepers have a nap. You can steal the former and blackjack the latter(s).:ebil:
In the canals there is a room with some small kind of machinery standing in a pool. On the wall opposite the pool, a crystal or gem can be found.
Hopefully, this will be enough to fill your pockets well enough to finish the mission.:thumb:

Thank you so much! It was the gravestones. I found the loot and hit my objective. I would hug you if I could, this has been a hard mission for me. Forced ghosting is just not my thing then add on to that the fact that the Hammerites were super sensitive just ruined this mission for me.

It
is pretty hard. But now you can look forward to a nice and somewhat more forgiving fourth mission.

I started playing this FM last night and am stuck in the 1st part. I've completed all the objectives except for the emerald jar and hiding out in the Mech's Church (when I'm finished, of course). My problem is this: I have been all over what I assume to be Lord Marco's place (the fancier door - only one of two that can be opened with the Collector's key; the house where there is a note telling Damien to move the flowers away from the torch (or something like that)), and I cannot find any hidden switches, etc., that will lead me to that jar (I've already gotten the gem out of the chest in the upstairs bedroom)! Am I even in the right place? If so, I'm not finding anything else here.
EDIT: Ok, I just re-read the scroll and it says the jar is in the Lord's office, while the 'hint' in this thread indicates otherwise:

There are only a few places (rooms/buildings, etc.) that one can enter in this city and none of them so far looks anything like an office, nor do I see an 'office' type area in the few rooms in the building of the 2nd door accessible only by the Collector's key (the first door accessible by this same key being the white door that leads to the sewers). What am I missing, please?

Dia, you're mixing up the machinist and the collector, just as I did.;)
The machinist is someone who walks towards the pub during the first mission and is carrying a key ("Machinist's key" - at least that's how it should be labelled). You stole it, and it opened the mechanist's house where there's that note about keeping the plants away from the torch. This key also opens another building which contains an explosive barrel near the entrance.
The collector, however, is Lord Marco, and he is living somewhere else. His key, the "collector's key", indeed is located in the pub. You have to do some climbing in order to access the Lord's home, however.
You start your climbing exercise near an ascending street leading to a large opening in the city wall. At the upper end of the street, you should find a large crate onto which you can climb. Once you have done that, better save your game, since it gets a bit tricky now.
You get further up by climbing the drain pipe, then jumping onto the large chain which leads to the top of the city wall there. On the other side of the chain, you should find a window that either is open or can be opened. Climb inside, and you're in Lord Marcos tower. Search it thoroughly, and the emerald jar should show up. You may need the collector's key somewhere in the building, which confirms that it's the right place.
