Where is lion?
EDIT. Found it.

Played the mission recently and I really liked it. Kinda reminds me of the Cube Escape games.
Too bad it is the only of the author so far.

I just finished this FM. I absolutely loved the vibe of it: the dark and creepy atmosphere of an abandoned house with a ghost trying to keep you away. I also loved how there didn´t appear any undead (zombies or haunts) like they usually do in FMs, I think they destroy the whole nice creepy vibe.
What I didn´t like were the very difficult things to find. I usually love riddles and stuff to find, but only if there are hints to it. There was alot of stuff for which I thought "wtf? How am I supposed to know that?!" for example the black owl, the flowers on the table or where to find the mineral cinnabar. I had to come here to find all 3 of it and seriously, if you have to look up so much stuff you kinda lose interest in finding anything at all. That was also why I didn´t finish the two optional objectives. How am I supposed to find all of those freaking glyphs when there´s no hint for any of them? Not cool:rolleyes:
What also makes me kind of wonder is the story. It was pretty damn good but I felt like it was left open. The main guy says that he might not leave alone so he was saying he wanted to rescue the "kidnapped people" right? But nothing of that was mentioned ever again after that. And while he took the 2 amulets with him to save anita´s and samantha´s souls, what happened then? They live happily ever after as ghosts after that? So they won´t kidnap any people/souls anymore? And anita just abandoned the house which Hans told her to protect?! It´s kinda weird, left open in my opinion. And since it´s been 4 years I don´t assume there´s going to be a sequel:weird:
Also how did you guys manage to kill that landford monk guy or what his name was? I read here that some of you killed him.. I didn´t have a sword, only 10 broadhead arrows and they were not enough to kill him:confused:
Anyway, for me it was a very nice playthrough with a few problems though :)

sword in one of the caves, where you can hear a vicious monster, and where you need a lantern to keep the monster from killing you. Somewhere in the cavern, there were rope arrows, but as well a sword (at least on easiest difficulty level).
The hooded guy appeared once I
entered the attic behind the door with a bird painted on or engraved in it. I turned off the lamp and put away the sword, then sneaked behind Mr. Hoodie. I drew the sword and gave him a surprise overhead slash, which guarantees a lot of damage. After that, I continued to whack and perhaps circle my victim until he finally bit the dust.:ebil:

Damn it, I found the rope arrows but not the sword... don´t tell me you found a blackjack too?!
I had no idea there was a monster in that cave. I went in there, thought "hell, it´s way too dark in here" and turned on the lamp:angel:

No, I neither found nor needed one.

Well, I didn't have a lamp at first, went in, heard something, got the idea that a monster was there, and then got killed. I think I only found out from one of the posts here that the lamp would protect me... sort of.

If you want to see it, there is a 100 % loot/secret video on Youtube done by "The Legit Count".
The two additional objectives are nice to have, but not really necessary. One gives you an infinite slow-fall potion, the other one opens a well where you can restore health whenever you like.
As for the two souls, indeed it is suggested they will protect the protagonist in the future, as it was stated in one of the readables.
About the hood guy, either grab the sword like suggested or just ignore him. You don´t need to kill him to win the mission.

A blackjack wouldn´t make sense anyway as there are no enemies in the level that can be koed.
Lansford is a reskinned haunt, the beast in the basement I guess just a reskinned tree beast, and the glowing balls just reskinned fire elementals. Man, so much reskinned enemy types, haha :ebil:

The safe doesn't open after I type the combination. It should be right below the combo lock, right? Or is it somewhere else?

I don't know what you've found below the combo lock. On Expert, the combo is found by following a clue that appears as writing on a wall: I think it says
find or follow the boar. More detail:
There's a panel underneath a boar's head mounted on a wall. The panel was previously closed, but is now open. There's a document with the combo in there.
