I am close to finish this gorgeous mission but before I trigger the last dialog I want help to find the way to enter the room above the basement you enter through the hole on the wall. I see the closed hatch on the ceiling but how do I enter up there? I have Saturn, the book, the skull, immortality and I want to finally find this map everyone has find but me...:D Thank you all and mostly Dale_ for this astonishingly amazing mission!

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Regarding your question:
You need to stack the crates and climb on top of them so that you can frob the hatch open. After that, shoot a rope arrow in there and climb up. The map you find in there actually only points to the triangles that lead to the fountain so you don't really need it anymore :)

frobable? the times I tried didn't open.I' do it again. By the way, this black triangle painting is inside
cat room? Your mission is a gem..I can't wait to see more of you..Only request I might have is to make more readables next time...such a great environment needs a backup story to make it even better. :)

The painting is inside the roof of the house. After you climb on top of the roof, there is a lever that opens a trapdoor. Inside the cat room there is the golden skull. And thanks again :)

Dale, I thought I had replied to this thread and commented on this mission right after I finished playing it. I was sure I had, but a search of the thread tells me I didn't. I guess I must have been sidetracked somehow, and never posted. My sincerest apologies for that. I had a lot of things to say about the mission when I finished playing it, and was eager to post about it. At any rate, it's been so long since I played it now that I don't remember the details well enough, but I what I do remember vividly is how much I enjoyed playing it, and how impressed I was with it.
I also remember thinking at the time how beautiful it looked with your custom textures and objects. The atmosphere is thick and wonderful. I was apprehensive throughout most of it, and was completely intrigued by the story and how you developed it. I think that was what impressed me the most. I loved the clever puzzles and the design of the place, and I remember having a lot of fun finding my way through it, and figuring out how to get to the various rooms.
I also remember that there were a few things I thought could have been done better. I don't remember what those things were now, :tsktsk: but I'm pretty sure they had to do with gameplay, and/or how you handled one of the puzzles or something like that. I know that's not much help, but I'll play it again when I have time and perhaps I'll notice the same things again.
Anyway, sorry for the lateness of the comments, but it's a first rate job for a first mission (or any mission). I thought I was playing the mission of a veteran author, for sure. Well done, and thanks for this treat.

I'm replaying this and for some reason completely missed where I could find the lion statue. Been through the house three times now, where is it again?
Also, is there a story element on where the villagers are? Did Anita lure them towards the house after killing Lansford's son? Are some of them turned into the elemental and the werewolf?

I completed this mission, mostly at the default (low) gamma.
While only seeing a meter in front of me, the dark grey house was mysterious and sometimes terrifying.
Towards the end, I increased gamma to help see glyphs and triangles.
but most of this map was a thrilling experience! Thank you, Dale!
and thanks to the voice actor/actress for such quality work.

thank you so much, Dale, this was a wonderfully made mission - I spent so much time lost in it, but never quite frustrated :p
and thank you, everyone who played before me and provided hints to help others through :)
tannar, was it mantling? even with new_mantle, I had a hard time getting up some ladders and steep stairs - like they ended before the top

I finished the mission today. A late congratulation also from me for this fantastic release, Dale. I posted here a while ago for some questions but later got some progress and deleted the post. Now, after I completed it, I decided to still leave a reply. Alchemy-what a discipline... I got some information online and found lots of it, especially regarding Albrecht Durer magic square (I tried all possible combinations before finding out... how to open it). :)
