It's a funicular. When you switch from B to A it takes about 20 seconds to travel from Bafford Downs to the residence.

Firstly, let me just say that I think you've made a brilliant FM! The quality is on a par with the original 'professional' missions, by that I mean that nobody would guess that this mission is made by an unpaid enthusiast - it's that good!!
It really did take me back to the good old days where I lost myself for many evenings in the 'almost' believable Thief world!
Keep up the good work as you have an undeniable talent for doing this sort of thing so please, for all our sakes, continue to let you imagination run wild and make some more FMs!!
I wonder if you can help me though? I'm currently going around in circles in the lower novice's sections of the floating buildings. I cannot seem to progress past the 4 gardens at the top. I'm all out of ideas and have been into every room including the one where the lessons are being held.
I've seen the dead people through the grate in the lower sewer and can see a tunnel behind them, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get across to there.
Any clues would be most welcome.

There are magic lifts that cycle between the towers. Quite visible if you know where to look. Just go to the garden with the single fountain and wait for it.

Nothing works in the foundry. The elevator doesn't do squat. Is there a power source I'm meant to first turn on? Also the code I found for the safe but its not doing anything when I punch in the correct combination Found in the second floor office which shows UP, Down, Up, Right But it doesn't open the safe or do anything.

tobias yes there is a switch in the elevator i think to turn it on first, and for code i think you have to look at the side of the book on desk to see a faint code written on side of book = the part where the pages are on open side of book,i also got stuck there for both things :P

I do not see any code written on the side of the book. Just the code that is written on the wall in the same second story office with chalk. Also there is no power button to turn on the elevator. Just the up and down switches. I've watched 2 playthrough videos of this and both times they just run up and press the elevator buttons and it works. I've also seen them enter in the UP, DOWN, UP, RIGHT code from the above mentioned wall and it opened the safe. The only thing I can think of is the scripts are broken for some reason.

Tobias, all the things you mentioned make use of tnhScript and/or NVScript. The latest versions of both are included with the mission, but they appear to be not working with your installation. Otherwise, you were doing everything correctly. You can check that your installed scripts are updated, otherwise a re-install, or a fresh download, might be needed.

I'm almost finished with mission 3.
The only remaining objective is to deal with Iago. I couldn't find a way from the sub-basement to the church. Of course I turned the power on and there is a code table, but I cannot find the code and the nearby elevator button to the church does nothing when pushed. Any hintS or solution?

i think you go inside elevator after power is on and look for button to go up, i also got stuck there as button to go up in inset in wall i think, let me know
