I finally finished the FM, mission 2 was a WTF moment for me. I liked it.. There were two
codes/keys I couldn't find. The
Silversmiths key and the
code to the safe where the Bumbleson insurance guy is. Any idea on their location?

I've seen no problem with AngelLoader. I'll see if any of the beta testers used NewDarkloader.
I can confirm problems with the 7z-packed version of "Matriarch" on a Windows 7 machine with NewDarkLoader v1.7.0 (newest, AFAIK). NewDarkLoader tends to freeze whenever 7z is used. The program will even freeze when I place a 7z-packed as well as a zip-packed (and named differently) version of the FM in the FM folder/directory and then install, play, and finally uninstall the zip-packed version. It looks like NewDarkLoader examines 7z files when uninstalling zip files.
Not all .7z FM archives make NewDarkLoader crash. A self-made .7z version of another mission ("A Smuggler's Request") does not cause freezes with NewDarkLoader.
AngelLoader, which is installed on the same machine, does not have any problems with these 7z files.
Looking closer at the 7z-related files, there is a file called SevenZipSharp.dll that is present in NewDarkLoader v1.7.0 as well as AngelLoader v1.7.0, but AngelLoader has a SevenZipSharp.dll from 2021 while NewDarkLoader uses one from 2016. This might be the reason for NewDarkLoader freezing with some .7z archives.
Exchanging the SevenZipSharp.dll files did not help NewDarkLoader, but made AngelLoader malfunction as well (in a different way).
Time to write something in the NewDarkLoader thread, I guess.

Having issues with this too. Cant use darkloader as it crapped out on me. Using T2 FMselector instead. 1st time loading it crashed during opening cutscene. After that it tries to load the 1st T2 mission. Ive deleted and redownloaded it, no go. Even tried making it a zip file and still nothing. Any other mission works fine. These .7z files have been finicky in the past.

Follow your objectives, and they won't lead you astray.

Upstairs factory area.Which building? There are a number of buildings in the factory area, I've found a secret office in one of those buildings that also has a safe but the code book nearby is wrong for that safe, so now I have 2 locked safes and one erroneous code. :grr:
Balboa this is a great mission, loving it so far (mission 1), so many hidden locations, secrets, tunnels and unconventional routes, it's a great map, and along with some great humour this is a top quality mission, well done and thank you. :D
PS. Can you get into the Mages building?

Later. Also, most clues are not
too far from their puzzles.

When you
searched room 212, what did you find? Make sure you read all of the documents, and then re-check your objectives.

I'm having trouble finding any use for the Odd Playing Card , I've found a sewer entrance between building 4 and 6 in High Market but I can't seem to interact with it. Any hints will be appreciated :thumb:

Which building?
In the same
Blackheart Forge building. Go to the
manufacturing area, in
one corner is an elevator. Take
it to the office upstairs. Look around carefully.Quote Posted by Plibb

It's the correct spot. You need to
walk into the room (do not alert the thieves there e.g jumping. Walk in without weapons) And
go up to the grate. Reload from a previous save if you have to...

Plibb: Maybe there is a reason you can't lift the sewer door yet?
