Just finished, definitely one of the best I've ever played. Plenty of exploring, lots of little surprises for the patient observer. Some things I tried that I thought made sense ended up not being the case so design could be tighter. I roped up above in the lofty area in the courthouse and there was no room brush or hidden loot. I guess it was just a wood support. The music also seemed loud and repetitive. I didn't know if it was a festival going on in the other districts echoing around or was it supposed to be a inside my head ambient. Also the end was a little tedious given that it
wasn't that much pressure or scary. Yes the
pee makes it all the way down. (

Story actually held me in, I felt like it was "alive" as I uncovered it, rather than something that takes no main focus.
It felt like I could be attacked by the murder lurking about at any time. And I loved the rat twist so much. Nothing though draws it back, I am looking forward to a replay at a later date. Perhaps after the gold edition comes out ;)
All the places I wasn't supposed to climb to despide author blocking it, hehe love to climb. (

I seem to have found myself in a room where a guy with a sword has walled himself behind a makeshift barricade with only a small passage through it. If I try to go through the passage, I get hit with a firebolt. I've tried climbing over the barricade, but I can't quite make it. How do I get over it to where the guy is?
P.S. I'm having a great time with this mission so far! Excellent work, Nicked!
EDIT: Nevermind, I accidentally alerted him and he walked forward and set off the mine himself. Guess that solves that problem. ;)

Lady Taffer: Just in case you missed it, even though you no longer need to know: That mine is on the ground in the middle of that 'passage'. You can disarm it, like any other mine. Myself, I completely missed it the first time I tried sneaking through- ouch!

@Shaz: Yeah, the room is so dark I didn't see the mine at first. I decided to reload my save and then just disable the mine. Much quieter that way.
But now I've run into a new problem:

6 hours into this mission. I still haven't found the device to
Open the sewer hatches A detailed spoiler is needed.
How do I get into the rest of the sewers? One of the hints said to
check the hammerite church, but I've been all over that place and didn't find any sewer entrance!

Also, I've found a locked door in the church that I can't open, (the High Priest's key doesn't work on it) but I'm pretty sure it leads down to the crypt. How do I open it?

Well you've figured it out...
you need the crypt key
It's labeled so. You find it in the church IIRC.

Found it! Guh. . embarrassing, but in my defense it did blend in quite well. I think I've also found the way into the sewers so it looks like I'm set for now. .Thanks!

Well, that didn't last long. Now I am in the basement/sewer section of Miranda's house and past the canal gate there is a locked door that I can't open. It appears to lead to another part of the sewer. How do I unlock that gate? And is that where I can find the wheel or whatever mechanism it is I need in order to raise the bridge in the other part of the sewers?

Ok, I did find the water control room key but I still haven't found the mechanism to raise the bridge.
