this is a beautiful mission! lots of little touches, like the smoke plates over torches, make it feel real and lived-in.
Having a few helmeted guards is keeping me from running around like crazy, which is keeping the atmosphere going.
I was able to get on the roof pretty easily via the master bedroom balcony, though from lack of footsteps and falling through the game room dome I don't think that was intended.
questions:
I've found and used the decrepit key and there's a hint I know I'm missing - I tried using a fire arrow and my lantern to light the torches but nothing happened.
I'm still looking for the idol and one more piece of evidence. Sometimes evidence seems to appear and disappear from my inventory, so maybe I found it but it didn't register and I dropped it? Or maybe they are the same thing?
There's also an outbuilding I feel like I should be able to get into (by the sea gate), but maybe not?

Thank you Random_Taffer for this new FM. I played on expert and got all objectives, but was 82 short of full loot. I'll have to play this again sometime to try to get it all. It was refreshing that there were not an obscene number of AI. It was also clever to add in a few non-KO guards. I do wish that I could have been able to explore the docks, but I figure that's for another time. Recorded play time was about an hour and 1/2, but real play time was about 4 hours on and off over 2 days. A fun FM to play on a day off.

Great FM with, in particular, some great, understated greenery locations and, ofc, fantastic, fantastic routing. I do have two conveyance critiques:
1. Upon review, I do think the "lockbox" in the "note about a lock" should just be referred to as "lock". This created major confusion by leading me to look for a locked box, like the unlocked one in the steward's room, that would contain some other means of accessing the tomb. The term "lockbox" has specific concrete meaning as such a box.
2. The note about the hidden tiara in the steward's room gave the impression that the tiara was still with the pawnbroker- otherwise there would be no need to "settle up". I suggest changing the note to be clear that the tiara is back in the steward's possession and this is a separate offer to sell.
