Greetings, Taffers!

Today is the 25th anniversary of Thief 2 and I wanted to release something for it to show you all that I'm still around.

Yes, Broken Goddess is still in the works, so don't worry.
However, occasionally you need a break from work of such scale and a story idea came to me around in November of 2024 when I was thinking about Conall's origin.

Do we need a Conall origin story? No, probably not. Our own Garrett's origin is one or two sentences in the first cutscene of Thief.
However, I'd still like to tell one if you'll allow it. This is the opening mission to a small, far less ambitious campaign that I will occasionally work on when I need a break from BG development but still want to stay productive. I've chosen to utilize mostly stock and stock-derived assets, but haven't limited myself to them. I've chosen everything very carefully.

HD mods will not work with this map, so please disable them if you're using them. All it will do is update stock objects only, but leave the textures that I've assigned, which will probably clash and look terrible.

I'd like to give thanks to my testers as well as Yandros for helping me fix quite a few bugs.
Thank you to Tannar for creating the map.
A special thanks to Masterthief3 for reprising the role of Conall that only he can pull off, as well as MattDistraction for the voice of Master Jannes.
This map will be re-released with the full campaign with some updates.
