Briefing I was recently contacted by one Lord Traymen. A rare crystal caught his eye on display at
the summer home of Lady Decress, and he's offering me a handsome sum of coin to be able to display
it in his instead. He told me that Lady Decress always has guests, so even after dark I'll need to
tread carefully. The trip here took me a ways from the City and the ride wasn't cheap. I'll have
to make it worth my while.
Traymen didn't leave me empty-handed, he sent me with a crude map he made of the house. It
was clearly from memory, and with Traymen's age I doubt it's accurate. Only one way to find out.

Really awesome FM, especially for a first one! Cleared on expert with full blackjackery, missing about 100 loot. Great extra objective, good loot target, I didn't test without knockouts but suspect it would be a fun, fair challenge.
Especially strong points:
1. The player is pretty naturally drawn through the map by visible objects and access points, moving from bottom to top.
2. The rooftop garden is fantastic, especially the fireflies. What an incredible reveal!
3. Several architectural elements blend seamlessly well with gameplay, especially the blockage on the upper floors of the dumbwaiter. The wall of night and ground floor rimlit corridor were also very cool. I would love to see these features, and 2 above, used in other FMs. They're really, really good.
4. Readables were all excellent. The map was similarly very well executed, fitting in well with the mission's framing narrative: inaccurate in ways that don't impede utility.
Possible issues:
1. I had three or so female NPCs in what appeared to be glitched, stationary positions, all on the upper floors - in particular, one was standing more or less in the dumbwaiter. This is the only substantive issue in the FM!
2. A red book in the library had a misspelling: "deity" is correct.
3. I struggled to spot the key of nature, which is perhaps too far from the edge of the shelter, or too recessed into the ceiling. Check with others; I play with very low gamma, which makes spotting this sort of thing harder.
4. The apple key is a bit illogical, in that it unlocks the top floor; the Lady has no way to get up unless she's climbing the roof! I might suggest having a separate top floor key hanging by the door in the stairwell.
5. If the scrolls in the desk trashbin are meant to be readable, they are not. I have some lingering questions about the whole apple riddle situation that might be answered by those.
Really cool first FM, I hope you'll create more of them!

Thanks for checking it out, I'm glad you enjoyed it! If you do play without knockout, I'm curious how it goes
, especially with the 2nd floor guards.- For the 1st issue,
was it the lady in the red dress standing on the white table? Plibb had that issue too and I attempted a fix, but if so I might need to do something more major.- Totally missed the typo, thanks for the heads up :thumb:.
- Ahh, I'll try to
illuminate the gazebo button like with the dumbwaiter buttons and see if that helps.- Good idea, originally there was
a 2nd red key on her desk but I removed it when I locked the crown away to avoid sequence breaks. I'll re-add a key that just unlocks the door, it would also allow for more interesting routes.- They were planned to be
old drafts of the puzzle, but I decided I'd rather just imply it hahaha.
I'm curious about your riddle questions, I'll think about adding some extra details.I definitely plan on making some more FMs in the future, although it might be a bit until then with Silksong on the horizon hahaha. I have some ideas I'm interested in trying though!

Very nice. Do more.
:)
Really, nice small FM. Everything was good and logical. Except, maybe, for the stove button. I pressed it before I had even a chance to know that there was some puzzle there.

Just finished after almost half an hour and 3276/3296 loot.
Very enjoyable FM and very good for a first one! :thumb:
What I loved:
-Obviously the apple riddle. It was very well done and a nice additional search
-How you had to climb the window so you could reach the upper floor. In the future it would be better to add a room key though, because it makes no sense that the apple key opens the door. It means the lady must go through the window aswell if she wants to leave or enter the room :D
What could be better in the future:
-The loot was too easy to find. It´s better to place some of it more hidden and add some secret places. It makes the thiving fun more thrilling
-The button on the stove was too easy to find. As A.Stahl already mentioned I too found it before I even knew about the riddle

Just finished the mission in expert ghost, 37min (1h10min RTA), 2847/3296 loot
I really liked it. It is great you didn't make it too long, the pacing is on point to me and everything is well detailed (except the basement, which could have maybe been smaller I think
Keep up the great work!
I can upload my playthrough as well, if you want to check it out!

Based on the fact that nothing is ever put in a Thief mission for no reason, I had a good look around
the gazebo in the garden.
