First, I'd like to say what a great mission thus far. There is simply so much to do and see.
However, I am having a problem with getting the second part of the mission to check off the objectives and allow the mission to end. I made the delivery as required and dropped it down the chute. I didn't alert my presence. A new objective came up to get my equipment, but the first objective was not checked off. I did a lot of exploring, picking up loot, items. Then I went to pick up my equipment and spoke with Mercedes. It then put another objective up to go to the cemetary and then to destroy the item. I did that and that objective did check off. However, the first two were left unchecked and the mission did not end. I know I must not have done everything available in the mission, but I could not understand why the mission did go to scene 3.
Any help/thoughts would be much appreciated on what I missed or could do. Also, how can you get that purse from Mercedes? It never seems to let me get it from her so that I can get her diary.
Thanks in advance.
By the way, I am playing on the easiest setting.

Skulduggerist - I'm afraid I don't have any useful advice for you, other than I don't think your problem is connected with CL. I've switched back and forth between it and other T2 and T1 missions and haven't experienced any problems with Darkloader, other than the fact that it's slowed down.

Skulduggerist:
get the new version of darkloader. Bjork (or whatever his name is) fixed that bug in version 4.02

ok, after reading all those nice spoilers posted before this one I just a quick question?
What's the quickest way to the room to deliver the Cylix from the hole in the cathedral? I only got 7 minutes to get the room to drop off the cylix.
ps I am really learning to hate time limits!!

Continuing my plight from above, I never had trouble switching among FM's until I loaded CL, and it could very easily be some problem between CL and the much older Darkloader 3.02, but my main question is how to uninstall CL when I can't get Darkloader to run. Is it possible to install a later version of Darkloader on top of my apparently defunct one and then uninstall CL or am I consigned to a clean sweep/reinstall of Thief2 and Darkloader?
Thanks

loathed time limits with an incredible passion (you wouldn't believe it. I felt horribly disappointed when I found out I had ten minutes to deliver something in a city I've never been in, as well as while possessing a horrible sense of direction :tsktsk: ). I did happen to do it in time though, and although it's probably not the fastest path, it was the easiest for me:
Basically, follow the path indicated on the map (use your compass if you're bad with direction like me), until you get to the wall that has some graffiti on it (it was the only way I knew I was even in the right area). There is a woman walking around here, so wait until she turns her back, and run and jump into the water. If you look around a bit you'll find a building with the wall broken up.. You can climp in there and jump up the stairs. If you're playing in the easiest difficulty there should be one guard patrolling outside the door (stay in the shadows until he leaves to the left), and another facing the other way on the right. I know I'm really bad at this, but I'm trying my best :) You'll next want to run straight and to the right (shouldn't alert the guard standing there if you're quick and stick to the shadows when available). And if you follow the building you should see a balcony on the left. The patrolling guard has the key, so steal it when his back is turned, and jump up the ladder. As for the rest, I can only give you a general idea, because it all happened so fast with me. I believe you go forward from the balcony, and in an entrance to the left. There should be a chapel area here, and on the other side, a door (again, on the left). Open it and drop the Cylrix in the chute in the left corner, as the voice instructs you. Now you've just got to escape, because the traitorous bastard set off the alarm! I'd suggest going out the balcony, and out the way you came, hiding in the shadows as a few guards run by. Sorry but thats the best I can do to help a fellow taffer struggling to do it in time, as I did ;)
Glenn, I'll have that out to you today. I'm not sure how long it's going to take to get to you. It'll be interesting, that's for sure. Contact me off-list at: marcpaulhamlin@yahoo.com rather than taking up space in the forums, ok? This way, folks won't get upset.
Go on with your bad self,

I have downloaded the executable plus the 16 files of Calendra's Legacy. When I run the CL_v1a executable file, it begins installation and gives me the message "Cannot find the next volume, insert disk with C:\MYDOCUMENTS\THIEF MISSIONS\CL_V1A.r00" I save all my FMs to C:\MYDOCUMENTS\THIEF MISSIONS. Any suggestions?
