Anyway take a look at that readme since you've done your playthrough!
Now that I've read the readme, I recognize that some readables hinted at those new mechanics. But the fact that I didn't have/found to engage with those during my playthrough may show their underuse/lack of relevance. Take it with a grain of salt though. For each feedback, perhaps I'm the only player that feel like that. Same thing for the few times I got stuck in my playthrough. Once you receive more videos, hopefully you will be able to make a broader idea of what needs changing, and hopefully I've just a skill issue.
Also I have to say I really loved the few
parkour sections, and the great use of verticality
in the last section. It hits right at home. It feels like you got progressively more comfortable with your layouts as the mission progresses, which is great! I assumed you built the mission in chronological order?
Finally, I just saw that the main theme for the mission gets copyright claimed on YouTube. I don't mind personnaly, it's not like I'd make any money, but it's somoething you may want to be mindful for people who want to make videos of your mission. Perhaps add a disclaimer in the readme to let them remove the song fdrom the directory before playing?

Where are the rope arrows? I'm a bit deaf at the moment and can't catch the point of the "is that the woman who helped me?" line or whatever it was.
On Expert there is
only one Vine Arrow as far as I can tell. In the district with
the zombies near South Quarter, enter the
library and go through the
vent until you reach
a basement. Continue exploring this area and you should end up finding what you're looking for.

Follow that Will o' Wisp ;)
ROPE ARROWS SPOILER:
There's
two.
One in the museum and one in the manor.Location spoiler:
In the museum behind a paintig there's a switch. The vine arrow is in the manor's attic. Look up while in the manor's less populated area.Quote Posted by MrMunkeepants
this is pretty mind-blowing - I've suggested a mechanic like
arrow crafting for a while, but nobody seemed interested!
Can't take much credit on that since it's literally NV's example for the script I used, so :D It will pay off in the future of the campaign I feel

I'm to the museum area, but I'm sure I've missed a lot along the way (like
using a rat to scare the sewer guard captain's woman out to get in the door to his quarters? I'm not even sure how to do that, but it seemed indicated); now there's a locked door in the basement
torture area I can't find a key for, but that I'm guessing can be opened by
bribing the man walled in in the next room over but I may be wrong because dropping
food and water on the plate didn't do anything.
Hints please?so far I've found one secret - it was
up high in the
museum lobbyThose are not gameplay features present in the mission haha
How to open the museum's basement area door: either
burn it down with a torch arrow, like any other wooden object, or
get the key from the hole, behind the banner in the adjacent room.

No, I absolutely agree, the FM could be more sandbox style to showcase these gameplay changes more, but I'm confident the feeling for this one will be better once there's more missions to jump right after. I also wanted to let you know because I saw your gameplay and you
didn't pick up any torch crystals, which leads to never engaging with the fire system (basically every wooden object is burnable now), so you don't miss out on a future replay.

I'll play it later today. Congrats on the release, but I would like to suggest putting the release date in the topic line so that players will know that it is a new release. :)

Good suggestion john but it seems like I can't edit a thread's title... If a mod is out there and wants to do it, please do!
Edit: thanks renault!

After clicking on Edit, look to the far right and there's a button for "Go Advanced." That's where you can change the thread title.

Awesome FM, highly enjoyable! You can be proud of this one!
Noticed a typo, in the description text for the sword in the Lady's office, it says "carries a silver of the Old Fire". That should read "sliver".
Also, I'm fairly certain you can somehow compress some of the audio files used for ambient sounds, or at least reduce their file size.

this was a lot of fun! interesting new mechanics, tons of texture and sounds and (I think) rarely implemented NPC animations!
finished in about 2hr30m, found one secret and one optional objective; about 1300g short of the loot total.
there were a bunch of areas I just couldn't figure out, like the tall drain room in the sewers, but they weren't essential to finishing. Maybe some were just window dressing.
once I got the sword on fire I didn't really have a reason to use the torch arrows.
Sicker Square thoughts:
such a labyrinth!
the servant with the wine bottle was a pest, relighting candles and sounding the alarm when I turned off the lights, so I knocked her out and she dropped and broke the wine bottle!
the manor under renovation was very well constructed; I did laugh out loud when I reloaded on the balcony facing the chandeliers and they dropped from the ceiling! Being suspended from ropes gave a nice bit of movement while climbing.
the boarding house was interesting, with a fun advancement mechanic (though I already had the exit key from somewhere else).
I initially crossed from the tavern roof to the small turret with a tree; there didn't seem to be anything there, nor a way to the safehouse. I had to go down, over, and up.
The mission ending came as a surprise, as I was having such a good time. Looking forward to more from you!
