Edit: Thank you everyone for your feedback, I've gathered enough that a v1.1 is deserved. If you plan on playing the FM soon, perhaps I'll hold off on it for a few days :)

You play as Lowell, a lowlife currently in hiding from forces mightier than himself.
This Fan Mission contains certain gameplay changes and additions that are perhaps better discovered
through gameplay, but just in case, they're detailed at the bottom of the ReadMe file. Regardless, we recommend
playing through the mission before reading it. Use spoiler tags!
A few weeks have passed since my encounter with that mage.
This hideout has served me well. The City might be heavily patrolled, but having the gate to the
docks right by has left me free to roam the port. The wealthier spice merchants have some agreement
with the Watch: they don't look and their pockets get a little heavier. And with people coming and
going all the time, no one would pay any attention to another street urchin like me anyway.
But I'm tired of begging and eating fish scraps.
There's talk about a warehouse very close by that recently received a shipment from far away.
Everyone talks about it in whispers. And I have a very keen ear when I want to. Tonight, I'll take
a stroll inside the City... and see if the rumors are true.______________________________
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped me make this, it literally couldn't have been possible without you.
- vfig for their deep knowledge and willingness to share it when I was just starting Dromed.
- Dale for his eager ear and his tailor made objects, without which some new gameplay
couldn't exist.
- Mat99 for the literal dozens of hours of playtesting, and for checking every single
texture, sound and video so that the FM doesn't weight like a modern game.
- Yandros for saving the FM from the brink of madness when I broke it.
- The Dromed discord server for their insight and inspiration.
- Trevor for lending Lowell his super voice.
- Ripped Phreak for the technical support.
- Feuillade Industries, specially Firemage, for their technical tweaks from The Black Parade.
- Nameless Voice for the original spreading blaze demo, without which I couldn't have started
thinking about mine.

Finally, I'd love to see people playing this FM, so if you feel like it, record your playthrough! Would be very informative.

Two missions in one day! What's happening?!! Amazing!

Played through the mission in normal
in about 2 hours, completed every objectives but got stuck at 1500 of loot, might be a skill issue...Really great mission. The production value is through the roof with custom about everything, which is impressive. The environment art was the best part of the mission for me, absolutely gorgeous and detailed, while still very clear and readable with a great use of contrast.
If I may, I nontheless have two specific criticism I will detail in the following spoilers. They are quite nittpicky, so don't take them as dealbreakers, those are simply things I noticed you might want to be mindful about.
Firstly, regarding the new gameplay features,
you may want to be more focused with their use. In the mission, it feels like you introduce a lot, but don't have time to expand on them properly. The water bottles, for example, are present in the first section but without clear locations where there might be useful. As a result, I didn't really find any need to use them. The boulder you use to climb is only used once without proper introduction, same thing for the 'torch arrow'. It feels like each of these would have warranted a deeper exploration.Secondly, I would suggest you should to be more mindful about 'affordance' in your level design. That is, present clearly to the player what they can and cannot do, following clear and systematic rules.
In your mission, some levers are interactible at some point, and static at other. Similarly, some armoires can be opened and other cannot without any visual distinction. To remedy this, you may try to use a different models between actual levers and those that are decoration. Same goes for whether a door is interactible or not.Like I said, those are really minor things. I overall really loved the mission!
As per your request, (

Congrats on the release, and Thank you for the huge work!

Very fair criticism Trivial, thank you and I agree! The gameplay will be revisited in subsequent FMs, since this is the start of Lowell's campaign, but as a standalone FM it could have benefited from that. Looking foward to your playthrough!
Edit: just finished watching your playthrough, and perhaps you should take a look at the Readme now, I think you'll find at least two surprises there. It gave me the impression that you were expecting a more puzzle-y setup like with the water bottles, but they're not. They're bottles that can break and have water. You can probably figure out uses for it. But there are no "and here you need to throw a water bottle" section or something like that. Anyway take a look at that readme since you've done your playthrough!

i am going to need someone to do a 100% run on this mission so i can see what secrets i missed and loot i missed
MrMunkeepants on 16/8/2025 at 07:57
this is pretty mind-blowing - I've suggested a mechanic like arrow crafting for a while, but nobody seemed interested!
I'm to the museum area, but I'm sure I've missed a lot along the way (like using a rat to scare the sewer guard captain's woman out to get in the door to his quarters? I'm not even sure how to do that, but it seemed indicated); now there's a locked door in the basement torture area I can't find a key for, but that I'm guessing can be opened by bribing the man walled in in the next room over but I may be wrong because dropping food and water on the plate didn't do anything. Hints please?
so far I've found one secret - it was up high in the museum lobby
Swiz on 16/8/2025 at 11:03
Where are the rope arrows? I'm a bit deaf at the moment and can't catch the point of the "is that the woman who helped me?" line or whatever it was.
