Just finished the trilogy for the first time. What a ride it was! Definitely among the top FMs I played. I know it's been like a million years since part 3, but is there a plan for part 4 maybe at some point?
You do realize that every time someone asks him that question, it adds a year onto the wait, right? Currently we're looking at a 2034 release, well I guess now make that 2035. ;)

There is a way to change this order. In fact, it has been available for a long time. :sly:

I do have a technical/slightly story related question with regards to the Dark Zone.
After you get the
Dead Shadow, and go down the ladder to go back, out from the Dark Zone, things are getting really nasty. Garrett makes a comment about
leaving as soon as possible, and very dark, evil voices surround the player louder and louder. I tried out what happens if I don't go away
, just stand there in one of the corridors after getting the Dead Shadow. Of course - I got killed by something instantly. But what is this? A scripted event, or an invisible monster? Or there are more than one invisible monster?
Thank you
Anyone has an answer for this one yet? :) Thanks a lot!

I think it's an invisible monster that is teleported in behind the player. You should run away from it, then it should not get you.

Yes, thank you! Very scary thing tough.

I'm currently trying to play through a few missions that I've given up on over the years and I'm now on this one.
With some digging through this thread I've made some headway, but now I'm just running around aimlessly and I need some help, or better yet, a detailed walkthrough. Don't think I've got very far and I'm confused well beyond the point my patience would normally have given out.
I've got the forbidden book for the door guard dude and gone through a "transition zone" into an area with a bunch of hostile AIs, some machine rooms etc. Somewhere I found some Dark Zone instructions. I've opened the Meters room and pulled a lever, then found a teeny switch and got Tahsel's key, and opened a lockbox. Then there's a final lockbox. From the instructions, I guess I need a key of Darkness from somewhere. I've got a bunch of random stuff clogging up my inventory; no obvious way to use any of it. A few locked and unpickable doors.

All the "random" stuff is used in one room to make keys that access the various elemental areas. This room of the keys is found on the middle level of the North Star. Once you find this room and read the instructions there, things should start to make sense.
It's funny, I played a mission recently where I also went around picking a bunch of random stuff, this time lots of different flowers, without any obvious use. These mission authors, man... ;)
