I just finished this mission, and I have a question.
In the Dark Zone labyrinth, those running bastards - do they know where you are or I was simply unlucky to always bump into them? I thought it was the lantern, but when I was navigating without it, they also got me. Though I admit I didn't try it too many times, I was shit scared - I ended up running to the last switch and then running to the gate like a madman hoping they don't bite me in the ass. Anyway, they appear as you pull a lever, right? Also, I almost forgot: can they be killed? :)
Anyway, the mission was pretty awesome*, especially the whole architecture. I didn't quite explore all of it (left out the elemental rooms), so there's room for extra gameplay for me. I'll probably just load a savegame so I don't have to go through the Dark Zone again though. :)
I also liked that it ended with you just getting out to the city - good thing that there wasn't any unexpected twist / double-triplecross / "Haha, we just used you, Garrett, now you're in even bigger trouble than before, HAHAHA!". :)
Also, what's with "The light arrow is like an overpowered fire arrow, particulary efficient against undead."? I fired it into the back of one of the zombie Souls, and he was like "Hmm, must have been the wind..." :). It just pissed him off. It was more efficient to backstab and go around him.
EDIT:*The whole series was awesome, actually. :) Looking forward to parts 4-6!

The labyrinth bastards as I call them. You were just unlucky to always bump into them. They have a set route they patrol, you have to move quick to avoid them.

I just finished. I played all three in a row and had a great time. I found the third more difficult, but was able to get through it with a few hints. Mostly just explored everywhere to see where it led and usually found another area. The dark area wasn't that scary, but I have played through System Shock 2 twice. It was quite fun. I killed one creature near the switches and never saw another after that. It took three tries before I could escape the dark zone. Looking forward to the next mission.:)

And how stuck you were... :ebil:
Keep the items with you, you'll need them later to create several keys. Everything is explained in books and scrolls, don't worry.

Well, it's not everyday you encounter THAT!
and not everyone just happens to have a "fool's pit" in the entryway to their quarters! :erg:
Side's, it's all YOUR fault! :grr:
Making the damned place look SOOOOOOOOOO good I just can't be bothered to waste the view ON MY DAMNED FEET! :p
(that pit needs one thing tho, a voice track triggered by a player falling into it, something along the lines of:
"Now don't you feel stupid
Master Thief"!) Muwahahaha
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
toilets???would'nt think undead would need to take a dump!
or need to eat either - yet there was a kitchen!
ahhh! now how the he** i sposed to get past that invulnerable zombie that broke outta that cage and is standing in the middle of that tight walkway? can't stealth past him, too tight, keep touching him and the jigs up, and can't kill it of course! argh!!!!!! :erg:
