First things first : :laff: :laff: :laff:
Wish I could have seen you playing the missions. Thanks for the laugh, that made my day :ebil:
Now with your trouble :
- Hitting the button with an arrow shouldn't have turned off any lighting. the portable lantern happen to stop working eventually, it's a bug I couldn't solve by myself, it's from the engine. But normaly the other lightings shouldn't have gone off. Sounds like a bug to me, sorry for the inconvenience...
- Now with the maze after the Stone. First I hope you turned back on the sounds in thief, so you would understand something big is running after you.
As soon as you took the Stone, you climb down a ladder, and once down there you must run the fastest you can, if possible with full sound on your headphones and with a couple of diapers nearby :cheeky:
This maze isn't that complicated, it's all about timing, here is the way to the exit :
from the ladder follow the corridor, it turns twice to the left then thrice to the right. Then you have a gate on your left, so go to the right instead. Then turn left thrice, then right and left and here is the exit. Run, just run...
We'll see how the campaign evolves. I planned a 6 missions campaign, but I focus on the fourth part now.
Don't worry, I don't think the other missions will be as scary as the dark zone, but they should be at least as tensed as the second mission, if not worse... ;)

Thanx so much for your help Drk. I would really love to see more of your work and in other areas of experimental. Such as pure stealth/robbing missions, but till you complete the series, I suppose you will be doing this for Dark Mod.
Now I am thinking of it, in if you continue to DarkMod, don't even think of making horror fms. More realistic monsters, more realistic shadows and I hope not any more, more realistic DarkZone :p:p:D:D

Hmm, I don't think I'll work on the darkmod, it doesn't interest me that much. Well in fact I just love thief 2 and dromed too much, I don't want to change.
Otherwise, I released another mission, Greenbay, which is a quickie for Thief's 10 years anniversary. Nothing fancy, a small city mission just for fun, not even scary. You might be interested.

6 missions of terror! \O/
Tension of the 2nd mission?... Worse, worse! Not as scary as the dark zone? :erg: Well, it might be hard to top perhaps, but if you do I'll love it. Make them all as creepy as you can, and your plot design calls for. :ebil: I'll love every screaming OMG second of it all. :thumb:

Sorry to be so vague, but I am totally lost: I am in the area with the workshops and storages. This is the furthest I have reached. I have knocked everyone out except for two big undead monsters.
I have only one key which is called 'South Star Key' (actually I have two of it) and many locked doors still remain. Two objectives are crossed off successfully: Find out who saved your life, and give the book to Vlain.
Where to go from here?
And by the way, if I pick up any of the paintings Thief crashes. I hope that won't stop me from finishing the mission.
DrK on 27/4/2009 at 14:42
The paintings crash the game because you must be playing with NV's thief enhancement pack installed. To run my mission correctly you must uninstall it, see the very first post for that. Not a big deal, just a bonus objective.
Did you go to the north of the map ? Did you find the Room of the Keys ? There, you will find instructions, you must create a key for each elemental room (locked doors with colors above them). You only need the keys to the dark and light areas, but you can create the others if you want.
And eventually use your lockpicks, not all the doors need keys...
