Can someone please give me a hint on where to find the light key items? I've done almost everything else but just can't seem to get to the light zone.

Redface, You need two objects located in the north star :
An eye, to be found in North star kitchens
A bottle of phophorescent product (green bottle) located in the Workshops storages.

Ever since I quit thief to calm my nerves...I can't seem to load thief again...it goes illegal shutdown before the main title screen. This also happens on other fan missions...this happened after playing Rocksburg mission 3...so I'm just wondering if the awesomeness of this mission crashed my computer somehow :(

Lol what ? How would that be possible ?
Maybe something went wrong when you uninstalled the mission with darkloader or else, I dunno. It happened to me once or twice with other fms, shit happens. Maybe you should try to install thief 2 again.

Since you were one of the beta testers, perhaps you can reveal if the levels of difficulty are just that, (less health, more AI) or if there is a significant difference in objectives depending on which one is chosen?
