Just finished on normal, got 8/16 secrets and missed half the loot :erg:
I've unlocked a secret room by placing coins on the hammer crypt, but is there anything special inside besides a bunch of equipment? It seems like there ought to be a major secret in there.

Peanuckle if you went down on the elevator then there was nothing more than the equipment and some silly effects.
Initially it was just the one room but I expanded it to something larger.

I found 2 switches in the room with the gold Anch. One turns the light on one of the slot machines, the other (above the hanging light) I have no idea what it does. Either way, I can't get out of the room since the wall closed behind me & I can't find a lever to get out again. How do I get out? Ok, I got outta there :)
And where is this gear to the generator?
Oh yeah, the skull switch in the dungeon? What does that do?
As for the 'toolbox' area? where is that?

Have you found Benny's note already? It is located
in the room where the failed generator is. The note gives you a strong hint on where that gear should be. Never underestimate old Benny...;) If you still can't find the gear, look for it in the area where

A hint to that can be found
in the guard room above the dungeon. It's a
readable in which some guards describe their attempt to fix a hatch that won't open. The toolbox should be nearby. If you have not seen this
hatch, look for means to
get up inside the church/temple.
You wil eventually find that
hatch in a corner of the corridors on the upper levels of the church. Unfortunately, the toolbox must be on the other side of that hatch. Now, how do you get there? You have to get
up onto the roof, of course. Means to
get up are located near the
water supply building outside the main building. Once you get
on top of the damaged roof, you need to make your way to
the window on the other end of the area.Of course,
this window turns out to be locked. To get the key, you have to
fulfil a mission objective first: You need to

I FINALLY got to play this and it was everything I expected it to be. It's a very enjoyable mission with good clues and a lovely story and plenty to do. I've missed a lot of loot and almost half the secrets so I'll obviously be doing some more exploring. Thanks very much, John! :)

Excellent mission :thumb:, a lot of things to explore, and having found only 8 out of 16 secrets means I have to play it again and search more carefully.
