Great little mission!
All done now except:
1. I can't find the mystery key as referred to by others.
2. I can't open the metal door with the window in, under the main ramp between floors.
3. I can't get to the upper area with the broken ladder, where Garrett says "How am I going to get up there?". I have looked in thetoolbox area as noted elsewhere, but with no luck.
Can someone point me in the right direction please.

#1 opens #2. You can find the mystery key in the small area where the pipe is broken and blowing hot water and steam.
#3 look in the toolbox area for a lever. Once you pull it go look outside of that third floor window.

I just started playing so I've not made it far, but I made it as far as the temple, and I've roamed around outside a bit. John, the atmosphere you've created here is simply stunning! There are so many cool things to see (your new objects, moving things, swaying trees, flying paper - I caught it - great sfx and particle effects, to name just a few) which all work to make you feel that you are in a real place, and it's a bit lonely and desolate and I'm on edge. So I'd say you did your job.

Thank you Mike! :) I know a lot of people might wonder why the wedding was taking place in the rain and stormy weather, but an unspoken message can be derived from all of this. No matter how bad things get life must go on. :)

I'm trapped in the
secret passage/room which seals itself off when you enter. Inside is a dead Hammerite, a book, a nonfuctional holy-water font, several slot machines, and a chest. Getting close to the chest
triggers arrows shot at the chest.
The chest is easily picked, but the problem is getting back out. I found
three switches -- in the left corner on the chest side, above the ceiling lamp, and one inside the left cut beam on the ceiling.
The book discusses the
Spiritual Bonding Hammer, but the chest actually contains a
Golden Ankh.
Any suggestions?

secret slot-machine room with the arrow trap and the secret room with the elevator down to the water. Is there something else I've missed?

No. The all mouths say ah scroll refers to the four footlocker in the guard barracks. :)
