Hi Taffers,
I'm playing this beautiful FM but I was stuck, I have to complete the goal of finding "the scroll of life" but I can not find it.
I read the whole topic but I find no answer to my problem, can someone help? thanks!
Hi again, sorry for not replying but I've been away from the forum for like a year and a half. The Scroll of Life is in the white house. Go through the main entrance, then walk into the living room on the right side. In there is a painting. Look, maybe lean in, and you'll see a tiny button in the eye of the woman in the painting. Push the button, which cause the big urn on the floor to move, which in turn reveals a hole in the floor. The Scroll of Life is in the hole.
Glad you enjoyed this little mission, my first and only!

Hi Brynolf... just finished Redemption, and I can't say when I enjoyed a fan mission so much! A big well done... it had a bit of everything and was both challenging and rewarding. Please create more... thank you!

Thank you for your comments.:thumb: I'm glad you enjoyed. :D I wish I had more time to build missions. It was fun but very time consuming. Maybe someday sometime I'll make another one.

Well, I've finally, finally, finally (it's worth 3 finallys), finished this. I got scared out of my proverbial and never got to the end before now although I did try a few times. Very impressive and (mostly :laff:) very enjoyable. Thank you! I wish there was another on the horizon.

Then I consider it bad design...how am I supposed to know if I should look for a key or just blast things open? Everytime I see a locked door that I don't have the key for, should I try to break it open? And if it opens, was it by design, or am I breaking the logic and the flow of the mission?
Do you know what I mean?
I do. Aldo i appriciate the effort and know how much work goes into it; i do notice that this is a first time effort. Like the objective, check the majors office, well, been there right away, hammered some people, found some loot, but any clue ? No. Maybe i wasn't looking good enough...hmm. The pizzakey at the pizza place, now where's the catch to find the key where it is and what for ...hmmm.
So i walk around freely in the first area, have no clue how to go futher from here, i am stuck.
There's no good flow of story, no logic in the events. IN the end, you are desperatly searching for anything, just to move on beyond that next gate....
O well, it's a good effort but i do hope there is more logic in future missions you make. Keep it up!

Thank you Jediron for your comment, even though I don't fully agree with you on the first section being illogic. Now, I've been there myself, being frustrated when I can't find the solution on how to move on. Sorry if I made you too frustrated :p

Thanks a bunch for the nice words! I'm glad I was able to give you a few hours of pure Thief fun. Hope the mission didn't scare you too much though :cheeky:
