I'm in the Black Frog Tower. The beast just killed itself in the lavapool. I climbed up the ladder and now what? How to get to the glyph? I'm stuck here.

Hey :)
I'm playing the last mission but decided to share my 2 cents already.
First of all: the whole campaign is absolutely fantastic. I am absolutely absorbed by the story. Everything, from architecture to readables, feels and looks great and coherent with the story. The readables are not boring, not excessive, not blatant direct hints and not without purpose. Perfect.
I do have a few (personal) problems with the gameplay that I develop below. But it IS a fantastic campaign.. I only take my time to analyze and write so much for stuff I really like.
Overall it's way too difficult and frustrating. There is the challenging (good) difficult and the frustrating (bad) difficult. What separates them is hard to explain, but here's a couple of examples of difficult situations in stealth gameplay:
1- I'm in a safe spot observing 3 guards with complicated routes walking around in a place with complicated light/shadow formation. I can see that there are solutions but it will take time for me to form a plan and do something. This is challenging.
2- No safe spot, lots of AIs popping up from seemingly random doors and the whole place is lit like a wallmart. This is frustrating, because I'll have to take a chance, get caught, load and take another chance until it works.
The hidden objects situations kind of falls into the same category, but since it doesn't rely on loading it doesn't hinder the gameplay that much. A good parameter is: if the player is looking for something in the right place because he followed the hints, doesn't find it, gives up and go look for it elsewhere on the map, then it is too hard. He'll probably run aimlessly in the map, alerting all the AIs he had previoiusly carefully ghosted, until giving up and reading a spoiler in the forums, that points to the exact location he was looking, only at the wrong pixel LoL

wow, how did you do that? :P
You didn't jump over the hole to the next room? Is that door closed? If it is I'm not sure if you can reopen it somehow, if not you may need to reload or cheat and go through the door (is there a noclip cheat? I don't know)Edit: oops. Thought you were talking about the other mission :P Forget that

You need the

 I'm asking in the wrong thread. I'll get back to part 5 then.
And no, I had some issues with the blue crystal.
See you there.

Completely amazing work !! The first level is like Assassin's Creed II - when the city is in carnivale !
I couldn't play much of it though because it kept crashing my clean install - but what I did see was soooo great !!

Gzumillo,
I know my missions can be very difficult to play. You need to search very close for find items or other things for to progress in the game.
I love games where you need to take your time and observe your environment to detect every little hint, and of course this is reflected on my missions. But what I even forget is that many players don't like this playing way :erm:
I thought I had made efforts about that but obviously I still have much work to do again :p

The difficulty I'm not very fond of are the ones relying more on luck than strategy. But whether you change your design workflow according to my criticism or not, I'm sure your future maps will be just as awesome and I'll definitely play it. What I'm saying is.. go make more missions. Like, now. Go.
