Yes, i'm running v1.5 and have the newest scripts and everything.

Unfortunately there are potential glitches in these otherwise great missions. On one playthrough I got to the very end with all loot/secrets/etc and was unable to give the items to Flik, he would only give his earlier rap. Hopefully you have a save to retry the bookseller and just leave by the stairs. I believe others posted that this happened using the glyph there or at the Captain's, and maybe also at the hotel where you take Lady Adaline, all being teleported places off the regular map, where it would work correctly.

Taylor already mentioned a problem with the "Enter the void" glyph in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146179&p=2307003&viewfull=1#post2307003) post #46. Apparenty, The Elusive One's saved game may indeed be corrupted now. I have noticed other strange things with the glyphs, but no game-breaking ones so far. But I do not use the glyph very often because of these peculiarities.

Unfortunately my latest hard save is an hour ago in game time, probably two hours real time. So i'm going to wait a while before going back to this mission, cause i'm fed up with it now.
I don't get why the author removes the teleport point from the game so that you can only get to the library from the streets once, that is just poor design in my opinion.

I've "found it too". Running around until you see the right street name is one thing. Getting the item in question is quite another. I do hope the person I quoted was only asking for that, and not how to actually get the
dagger. If it was the latter I'm sure some people would be rather annoyed since the post doesn't contain that info.
Can anyone tell me how to get it?
edit: Never mind, I found it.
There's a wall panel that highlights because it's a door. Behind it is a switch that disables the trap.

I think it is a bug, not something the author did on purpose. If one doesn't use the teleport glyph, one should always be able to enter the "library" from the streets. At least I could.
The Captain's house, on the other hand, is inaccessible after you steal the Precursor dagger from there. An explanation is given on-screen then. I suspect some technical reason behind that.

Need some help please. Stuck right at the start.
The street is full of guards, I can get across via the fissure but no further.
I have found a passage under the inn, removed boards and ended up in a room with no exit.
'No reason to go..' past the frobbable fence.
What am I supposed to do?:confused:
