With the Carpathian cycle, the new scripst (or renamed scripts, whatever) have to be in the Thief 2 directory. However, this requirement is inconsistant. With "A Weakend Getaway" you have to use an older version of thnscript (1.5.4 is what comes in the zip file, 2.1 is the latest.) The game crashes with v2.1, I originally had to remove v2.1 and install 1.5.4 into my Thief 2 directory. However, FMSel doesn't seem to have this problem, the FM works just fine with 2.1 in my Thief 2 directory and 1.5.4 in the zip file. I have no idea what FMSel does to make the game run right with FMs but it seems that in the case of some scripst it uses the one in the FM directory and in others they have to be in the Thief 2 directory.
FM Selector uses a different folder for FMs and has nothing to do with the main T2 directory. So, does not deal with your 2.1 script install in the main Thief directory, uses only what is installed from the FM zip to its FM directory. Only the Version Checker is affected, because that (was) looking for the necessary script modules only in the main T2 directory. Just for the sake of interest, change the 1.5.4 script version to 2.1 version in FM Selector's mission directory and start that mission. What will happen?

Sensut, are you going to combine Bathory with Dracula?

Hm, I have not thought on it . Theoretically is not impossible since there is no more palette limit. Requires a lot of work, but can be done. I have to calculate a bit and I'll see. Anyway, it's a good idea! ;)

Both campains by themselves are awesome! :thumb:
But what would you get if you would combine them ??
Some incoherent monster campaign. Or am I missing something ?

It would be strange the shift between the 2 stories in the middle, and it's the only one of the problems. A cutscene would resolve it but that significantly increase the archive size. As I calculated the zip would be around of 450 MB, and this is only without updates, what is too high for a Thief FM :D .

Probably better to leave them apart. Two campaigns have got different menu backgrounds. And 450 mb is too much.

I have a problem in the "Blood and Ice" mission, I don't think it has been discussed (I didn't find anything with a search).
I couldn't find the indictment, I searched every possible inch of the Library and the Notary's Room, but no indictment, no hidden buttons, nothing. After this, I took a look in a walkthrough and it says that it just lies there on the Notary's table (I don't think this is really a spoiler, right?).
But there is nothing on the table, except some loot! I reloaded a previous savegame, before I had unlocked the notary's room and I got inside again, but again no indictment on the desk.
What happened - what should I do?
If someone knows what to do, please reply asap, I want to continue playing.
EDIT:
Problem kind of resolved.
(I replayed the mission to that point, for the record)
While frantically right-clicking everywhere in the Notary's Room, I discovered that the indictment exists on the desk, but it is invisible(!).
Other than that, I can read it and the objective is completed, normally.
I also loaded a savegame before the restart of the mission and I could pick up the invisible indictment again. So restarting didn't change anything - it existed (while being invisible) in the first playthrough, too.
It is invisible even in your inventory on the bottom right corner and it just says "the indictment" without a preview of it.

I read somewhere that this is some sort of conflict with v1.19. You will have the same issue in the next mission.

There is something with that book model's transparency what the new thief patch treats differently. Anyway a quick upgrade will be required for both campaigns.

The indictment, the Notary's Memorandum and "your diary" in the next level have the same issue, although those can't be missed. I don't know if there are any more books with the same thing, because I am currently still in All Souls' Day.
Anyway, this is an awsome campaign Sensut!
