Problem with All Souls' Day mission. Sorry if this is wrong place to post but problem is only with this mission. This is my first encounter with this while playing since playing any other FM. I played the Dracula campaign with no problems at all. No problem with Blood and Ice at all. It started about half way through the All Souls' Day mission with random crashes to desktop. Save games then would not load unless I reboot PC. I did a fresh install of Thief 2 and Darkloader, EP1 pack, DDFix. Any ideas would be appricated as I am at a point where I do not know what to try next.
Intel 6300 1.86 Ghz
Vista Ultimate 32 bit with Thief 2 in XP Compatability
ATI HD 4670
DirectX 10.1
I also play Dark Mod with no problems.
Thank you Sensut and all involved for the great FM's

I think I finallly solved it, removed xp Compatability and just let it run in vista. After reading more about DDFix and how it helps run the game on vista and windows 7 I decided to try it. I had not been using DDFix anytime before, did not need it.
Anyway, thanks. Pete

Hm. Good to know. I have Windows 7 and this mission running with XP compatibility without problems but I have no experience on Vista. Looks like that mission has something with the compatibility check on this platform. I don't know. This is the week of the surprises :D .

I need some direction in Pagan Fear. I am stuck. So far, I have these keys: crank key, guard's keys, servant's keys, and office keys.
I am playing on easy and have only satisfied the first objective of getting the tools. I have been running around this level for quite some time. I need to know how to progress in this level. Can someone tell me where to go to get things started? I don't want hints. Just tell me where to go to solve each objective on easy difficulty.

Have you used the crank key yet? if not then try looking in the water where you started the mission. Hope this helps!:thumb::confused:

cavador_8 - sounds like you need to get into the attic (a part where the floor sounds like gravel) & use the crank key to get into 2 rooms in which you'll find 2 more sets of keys (Captain's Keys & Director(?)'s Keys): these will open many doors.
StingM - I thought that was where you can find the Crank Key. But it's been a while....

Stingm, thanks for the info. That's exactly where I needed to go was to
jump back into the river and use that crank key. Thanks for the help. I was able to finish Pagan Fear last night.
Sticky Fingers, I'm not sure what you were talking about.

Use the crank key to get into 2 rooms? Captain and Director keys? I was able to complete Pagan Fear by just
using the crank key in the river

@cavador8: I think that info is for the next mission, Fallen.
