I've been playing on Expert and I think I've exceeded my past best performance for "knocking AI out through doors"!!:ebil: I always seem to be running from someone. You should see the corridor in the Inn by where you start. Bodies piled knee deep. :tsktsk:

Yes, yes at last I found the lockpicks and Drannor objective. I had been up and down the drain at the back of the Inn, entered the Inn via the back entrance by the drain but never saw the allay! :tsktsk: This FM is even more impressive then I first though only 5Mb and the city seems to go on forever! Great use of space. It reminds me of Logan's Web for some reason. Sadly, playing on hard and nearly finished now, only 500 loot required and the holy scritpure fragment to go. I believe I know where the holy scritpure fragment is but can't find the wall-lock key yet. Has anybody finished yet? Do you get to see even more of the town on expert?:cheeky:

I've gotten all the loot noted in the list above, I've looked everywhere I can think of and I'm still short of loot by 530 of the total available and 505 of what I need to complete Expert. That means you have to find nearly everything available to finish.
If anyone finds all the loot, will you help? I've found a couple of really well-hidden stashes, but I'm obviously still missing things.
You don't need to carry boxes to find Drannor's note, by the way.
If you go down closer to the guard and look up, there is a wood piece way up high that you can rope arrow into. Than, mantle up on the ledge opposite, jump onto the rope and then onto the ledge. It's much easier than boxes. :)
There are several ways into the Hammer Cathedral.
There is a door in the Inn with the wood bridge in front of it that leads out to the back yard. There's a stream back there and in the far end is a hole. That will get you in. You can also jump into the stream at the front outside the gate, swim around to the left, which gets you into the front yard, then rope arrow up into the balcony rail that's to the left of the front door and climb up there.
The servant AI's are pretty stupid! Notice how they go lurking around after you? Even when they're right up in your face they still lurks around? Weird people!

Nightwalker have you found the following teasure places,
In the locksmiths upstairs (room with blazing fire) open the window shutters and climb out on window ledge then jumb across to a flat roof. At the other end is a window you can open and enter for loot. Also in Hammeraite Cathedral basement (room with priest) there is a secret switch behind the chair opening secret room behind the banner.
I'd already found those ones, though thanks for trying ouzman. I'm up to 3433 now. I found a few chests that I'd forgotten to go back and unlock. I'm still looking but getting tired.:(

I just finished Normal difficulty and restarted on Expert and figured out why some of us are having trouble getting into the cathedral!! You can't get into the cathedral on normal difficulty! All the ways in are locked or barred off, including the waterways...
Of course, not being able to get into the cathedral makes the loot requirement on Normal quite tricky, too... It took every last piece of loot I could find in the whole town just to make the 2000 I needed.... Well, now I'm off to give Expert another go (I didn't make it too far with the no kill objective..heh)...

I'm still 152 short of the loot req on expert...I've been sifting through this thing all morning and finding out that the total loot on expert is 3825 does not reassure me at all...
A few obscure (some are *SECRET*) places to try for loot:
1. By the noble's bed (in the house by the starting point) is a chair with a ring on it.
2. Don't forget the room with the "relics"...and a hidden stash of plates and cups under the shelf of relics. And even though Garrett says the stuff in the glass is fake, each item's worth a small amount.
3. In an upstairs room (same place as 1 & 2), where you get the key for the doors, is a small stack of coins under the wardrobe by the bed.
4. In the Inn is an unlit torch on the second floor hallway; frobbing it reveals a passageway and a ladder. In a niche is a chest. Behind the treasure chest is a lever. This opens up a door revealing...well, you'll see. Pretty cool. This is a favorite trick of mine: the secret-within-a-secret.
5. In the Hammer chapel/cathedral: in the forge room, look for a valve that turns.
6. Upstairs, before you come to the deadly staircase, is a secret room. The lever's close by. There's also another secret door in there, too!?
7. In the house across from the Locksmith's, there's a vase behind a potted plant (second floor).
That's it from me for the moment...I'm completely brain-fried.
Anyway, no one should get the impression that I'm complaining...I've enjoyed this level thoroughly; I just think I should've been done by now. ;)

Thank you, Silver Sorrow! There are at least two spots there that I missed:
The lever behind the chest in the secret area of the Inn and the valve in the Cathedral.
I'll go and see how much that nets me! :)
