I know that this is an old topic in this string but to get the Duke's key I threw a crate down from above. I then moved the crate infront of the window then ran (while squating) in. To get out I simply grabed the crate and did the same thing on the other side. I thought that was a magic shop the key was in...

Have you ever noticed how much craymen resemble rappers? Just stand out of their reach for a while and they will do some rap moves after a while. Get down Homeboy!

Hmmmmm. Crouch on a damn crate to get in and out of that shop. Never thought of that! I can't imagine how many hours we've collectively spent trying to jump over that wall, seeing all that ordnance, and the key, just out of arms reach, and no way to get to it.
Makes me want to re-play the level and put some of that hardware to good use.
Aargh!

Well, I tried it. Got the horizontal door to open by beating on it with my sword. Tried your crate trick; jump, crouch, run...and I got in. But, crates or no crates, could not get back out. Phooey!

Here is the way to get into and out of the jewellers which works every time for me.
1) To open the hatch throw the hammer at it or as Viper6 said, hit it with your sword.
2) Next place a crate on the floor (left hand side of hatch as you look at it).
3) Jump onto crate, crouch and try running in whilst letting yourself slide to the right. Once you reach the right-hand corner of the window you will drop in.
4) Collect goodies.
5) Pick up the crate you used to get in and drop it, again on the left hand side under the switch.
6)Crouch, run and jump onto the crate. At this point you are not fully on the crate and will need to keep crouching/jumping whilst running, letting yourself slide to the right. Eventually you will drop back out.
As I said, I tried this method several times and it worked every time. Hope this helps all those wanting to start the mission with a "tactical advantage".
Dark Knight.

Expanded getting out explanation:
Grab crate from other side.
Place crate beside table on the non-switch side.
crouch
Run onto crate (must hit it squarely and be running)and don't stop.
Run onto table.
Run out.
Fill Magic Shop with as many crates and items as you can find (including the duke's corpse) then close the shop window.
You don't need to do the last step but it can be fun.

I know that this mission is old but i just downloaded it:-) Where is his vault? I looked all over his house and I cant find it...does it have to do something with the locked doors in the church area? Ive been to the place that has the fire arrows and the chest..does it deal with that? Please help:-)

Well, you're on the right track with the doors, not with the arrows. I will only hint, but my sources say check upstairs.
I beat that mission in like 30 minutes. It's alright, but if you ever move onto an area which I'm sure you missed, you'll find some misaligned objects and some improper sound brushing. Not that I'm picky or anything

Vigilance is our shield...
All your answers to my stupid questions are not in vain. Current project: "Brother's Keeper" taking place immediately following T2. First of three planned missions. Garett is hard up for information, and no one is talking. Follow a Keeper to his private mansion looking for answers. Percent done: 55%. ETA: Early August 2000.
