I won't spoil anything, play the rest of the mission and you'll find out.

Mylan - You are on the right track and haven't missed anything, if that's your worry.

Since the search function is apparently disabled for now, I'll have to ask a question that was probably answered before.
In Lord Edmund Entertains, how do you get into the Vault? I've been all over the mansion, moved the statue and got past that cool fire arrow trap and even found the secret room there, but i am banging my head on the wall trying to figure out how to open the door below and the other one behind the altar in the hammerite chapel.
Any help?

Welcome to the forum! :)
You need to
look for a room with a sleeping servant on the bed. Climb out the window, go around the roof of the verandah and into another window. That will get you what you need I think.
The search function will be fully restored soon. The forums have just been "renovated" and some things are still being worked on.

What a classic! Have fun! :thumb: Some of these need to be converted to Thief III's engine with updated visuals... oh yeah.

That's very easy to say, but it's a whole new engine. Won't the mission have to be remade from scatch?

Ha!
I think the main point was contained in the "oh yeah"
The rest was just a set-up for the punchline.

I know I'm way behind, but I just played Lord Edmund Entertains. This was a very enjoyable mission with excellent character development for its small size. It definitely is the best FM I've played so far (but I've only played two others - Gathering at the Bar and The Shadow of Lord Rothchest). However, I have one small question. It's unclear to me as to how Garrett came into possession of the letter from Lord Edmund to Lady Bernhard seen in the briefing. As far as I could tell, there is no explanation of this. Did I miss something?
P.S. I'm really looking forward to playing more FMs now that I've finally finished TG, T2, and NOLF. I'm going to wait on TDS until after I've upgraded from my GeForce4 4600.

LEE is one of the first FMs I played and one of my favs, as well. Might I suggest playing the sequel, The Vigil? Very enjoyable mission with some interesting puzzles.
About that letter, I can't remember any mention how Garrett got hold of it either.
