I just started Lampfire Hills a few days ago and I am kind of curious about a few things. 1, What is the objective here. I know what it says about the dagger, which I have, the locked switch? I'm guessing they mean the one outside Garretts cottage? I found a rather cryptic message about dreams and such and the Psychics Key. I have been all over town and under the Hammer Temple and into old king whats his names tomb and stole all his stuff and up in the rafters there only to find a tunnel that ends in a wall. Am I missing something here? 2, Is there anywhere to get a health drink or some reviving fruit? I had a few runins with the local authorities and am running around on just one health shield. I found the fruit in the larder along with a generous amount of cash ( I am always amazed at the charity of those who don't know they are giving.), can anyone give an old taffer some advice?

I'm not sure what you're wondering about as far as the objectives go. The locked switch is the one on the chimney behind Garrett's house. Did you rope arrow up to the chests floating near the ceiling down in the "tomb"? The other side of the dead end tunnel opens into the area above the stairs that go up on the opposite side of the big room with the chests.
I can help you with the healing potions, though. Go to the Inn and across the street is a door with a locked metal gate. The sign says "Succubus' Kiss Candles and Oils". Go East up the street to the far end and look up. There is a balcony on the right and at the end of the street there is a wooden beam. Rope arrow up, jump over to the balcony and go inside. You'll find lots of goodies, including several healing potions. :)

There are two questions about this mission I have to do; the first one is: is there a way to open the chests floating in the air in the vault above the apparition with the flamed-hand?the lockpicks seem don't work...
the second one is: how can I get in the room up the ceiling of the church?
Thanks

For the room "up in the ceiling of the church", you mean in the small chapel, right? You just rope arrow up to the rafters, (or come in by the window), make your way over to the far side, (to the right if you come in the window) and look for a button that will open a secret door. Then you can get in from a rope arrow. The key you need for the lock at the back of Garrett's cottage is in here and it also opens the floating chests. :)

Thanks, Nightwalker! :)

Hi R G,
I just wanted to add that you'll have to use a rope arrow just to even find the hidden door switch.
I was going to answer your questions myself since this is my all-time favorite FM but it had been so long since I played it that I had to go back first and check to make sure of exactly how to do both those things. By the time I returned I was pleased to see you were in the expert care of the queen mother of FM help and hints. In fact I'm about to ask for her help myself again!

Although it'll never happen, I'd really love to see a revised version of AiLH with all the bugs fixed and extra bits added. It's such a cool mission...

That was one of the first things I did when first starting to learn Dromed was to go in and fix some of the bugs. Unfortunately, I didn't get very far, as I was overwhelmed by the huge amount of objects and terrain brushes in that one.
I don't suppose someone has a list of the bugs currently plaguing Lampfire Hills?........

A revised Lampfire would be welcome, but I can tell you that Purah's time is being very well spent on his next project, which you definitely DON'T want him delaying to fix AiLH :D
