I played it twice -- or tried to, anyway -- before getting irrevocably stuck and quitting. Then I found out what I was doing wrong and finished it...on normal. That was a couple of months ago; I completed it on expert the other day, and enjoyed myself...sort of. I finally figured out a route to use (art dealer, main mission, Adrius...<BLOCKQUOTE><FONT size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><DIV STYLE="background-color:#000080"><FONT color="#000080">but that means that since I blackjacked everyone at the party previously, he has no one to avenge himself upon!</FONT></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE>), so that'll help the next time I play. Upon completion, I liked it, but because of the bad experiences I had before, I cannot love it. <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0">

CC is indeed a superb mission, one of the very best, but I can't clearly separate it in quality from a handful of other superb missions. :)

Played it now. Took me blooming hours as it's quite a fiddly mission but by about 2:30 am this morning I'd finished it. Pretty good stuff, great intro/outro avis and speech and story. There were a couple of bits that had me heart jump right into my mouth too which was very impressive indeed. That'll teach me to play late at night!!
I even had a go at COS3 this morning too, which I've very very nearly finished, and then there's, what, about 50 other missions to attack, heh.

I haven't played it either, but then I haven't played many due to a rather slow connection and 2 hour cutoffs.

KoMaG, I have JUST finished playing CC, and like you (I'm not kissing a$$ here either) I have to say it is my all time favorite! I loved the puzzles (I figured out the safe combo within two minutes without help), the sheer variety in environments and height/depth differences in the level, the new skins, the plot and acting and voices - and that final reward of getting together with Mercedes at the end? Heaven on Earth man!!! I can't even BEGIN to say how much this mission rocked my world, so I'm not even going to try. Man...what an awesome mission. Calendra's Cistern: if you haven't played this one all the way to the end, you haven't TRULY played Thief! <img src="graemlins/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="[Thumbs Up!]" />
