Nope. Havent played it. I have a 56k modem and it takes forever to download the big thief files, like the T2 patch and some FM's. So I think I'll get the FM cds when I get enough money for some Cd-Rs {And cases}...

Nope I haven't played it. I have NEVER played any FMs, because I want to finish my FM first... then I'm going to finish ALL the FMs available! :)

I'll admit to not having played it yet.
I think I downloaded it, so it's probably sitting on my hard drive at home but arrrgh so busy lately that I've not gotten round to it.
Still haven't played Max Payne yet and I bought it Saturday! And I've barely played Anachronox which I got the week before. Grrr.

LOL! I have to know if Max Payne is as cool as it sounds. The review made it sound a bit short and my machine would never run it anyway. Don't get me started on the D2 expansion.

I put off playing it for a long time, mainly because of the file size. But I played it and finished it about 2 weeks ago, and it is certainly a great FM. However, some areas were a bit dull. I don't really like it when Garrett works with someone else, but this idea worked well in Calendra's Cistern in my opinion.

I played Calendra's Cistern. I didn't really enjoy it. But I can see how others could - it did have great architecture and some fancy tech tricks.
I didn't really like the lack of AI. And how Garrett's character was so unlike the Garrett we all know. It seemed to me that, based on the lack of Thief-like gameplay and story, CC could just have easily been a mod for Wheel of Time or something. I was expecting from CC the same as I expect from any other FM - the need to sneak, the ability to avoid confrontations, and so forth. Well, there's virtually no one to sneak by, at least one forced confrontation that I can recall, and lots of annoying jumping puzzles. And tech tricks that break easily even in the patched version.
But again, I can see how others would enjoy it. I just missed that particular boat. ;)
