Calendra's Cistern
I'm just wondering who hasn't played this amazing excellent awesome fan mission? I currently don't have it available for download due to it's size, but I think Grundy has is broken up into 2meg fragments which you can download one at a time. I also have the full version (including the great movies) (33meg!) on the T1/G FM CD, of course.
So, who hasn't played it yet?

Well KoMaG looks like I'm either the first to admit it or I'm the only one who hasn't played it yet. I downloaded it a long time ago and the patch for it also. I was going to post a question about this but put it off coz I didn't want to sound like a dummy Looks like I must've ran the patch incorrectly coz when I tried to load the mission darkloader got almost all the way to the end of the install and then gave me an "invalid file name" fault. This caused the mission to not install and I can't play it.

Just a quick question for you KoMaG, what's the patch for anyway? Does the game play alright without it? And how are you supposed to install the patch? I used my zip magic program to open the original archive then opened the patch. I copied the files from the patch to the original archive and made another .zip file. The patch over wrote a few of the exsisting files but I thought that was what the patch was for but like I said, when I tried to load the game I got an invalid file name fault. Did I run the patch correctly?

Rok, the patch is only for the older version. The one you downloaded won't need it, so that's why it doesn't work. Just delete it and re-download it and it will work. You've got some fun ahead of you. This is a fantastic mission. :)
Oh, and one tip for when you do play it. Go to the art dealers first before you explore the rest of the town and open the safe. There is a bug that crops up every once and awhile that makes it impossible to open. It's easy to re-start if you're near the beginning of the mission, but if you've done almost all of it, it can be really annoying.

Personally, I'd rather play through a Belboz mission, not to mention quite a few others. It is a great FM though.

Though I did love CC very much Inverted Manse and Mystery Man remain my favorite missions,
along with Moc2, of course :) ;)

The patch fixed some bugs that weren't fully worked out when Purah and his team released the first version last year. They made a 5meg patch about a few weeks later. You would have had to be one of the first to download it last July or August to actually need that patch.
As far as CC being the BEST FM, Of course I know many of you will disagree and have many different opinions, and that's fine :) But so far there's only ONE person who hasn't played it!!! (ha ha, I know there's more, just haven't read this thread yet... :))

I have a small confession ...
I've played only a handful of FM's for T1/Gold and none to completion . Not that they were bad in any shape or form. I just found that I needed all of my time to work on my own FM and play some of the fantastic games that have come out over the last few years like SS2. Mind you I've looked at a few in DromEd to see the custom textures and skins people have created. Cool stuff .
I've been trying to play T2 but I'm still in the Bank mission. I started messing with D2 and now with the announcement of your mini-FM contest I've been working on that. Man, where does the time go .
So, to answer your question, no, I have not played CC.
