How do you calm the head down? And where are the body parts to complete its body?

Hopefully Andrew Dagilis will not be too upset for posting his opinion here, but...
Well, I actually won't share his opinion. Ask him for that
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifBut I will say that he plans to do a full expert level walkthrough and that since the final release he has expressed great joy in playing the mission. So, for all you taffers who are stuck, expect a very detailed walk through from Andrew out pretty soon.

Well, thanks to your hints & spoilers, I have been able to find the sword, (which I needed to get)the explosive device and detonator, which I needed to get Keepers Wall blown open and find the fountain.
There is a slight texture change in the large walled room just past C's dialog thru the bars. There are also large cracks in the floor there too. A good find if you've only got 2 or 3 health points left. If you examine the cracks closely, there's at least one expensive trinket lying around.
The zombie I let chase me upstairs, then I closed the gate on it. It's now immobilized trying to get through the closed gate.
The Beast isn't such a badass after all. Neither his eyesight or hearing are very sharp. Nor is he particularly fast on his feet. You can control where you "Park" him by running up and down the dark areas of the stairs. He eventually parks where he can't see you. Sneak by him, go back up, then leisurely make your rope jump to get back up.
Any help on finding the pieces for the talking head?

You don't need the Sword to get the explosives, the blackjack will smash any windows you come across, and you can grab what you need from behind banners.

Hello
This is one of the best missions i ever played and it 's so beautyfull!
It realy looks like a part of an old town here in germany. (ever been in Bad Homburg?)
But is there a way to use the english - sound files in my german-copy of the game?
Mayby by renaming the sound folder from "english" to "german"? I'have listend to the wave-files and i think there are very important to the gameplay (lot of informations ect.) Beside Garrett sounds cool! Who was acting?
What about that Gold_Hammer discussion? I dont get it! Do you want to spare it to the RTC part2? This Fan-Mission (and some others) are even better than some OM! so what? Why dont you deled the Gold hammer mission -side when no mission has the chance to get it? Keep in mind , that there is the the posibility to give them one gold-hammer two , three and so on! It dont have to be the best mission ever possible to create, only a very, very good one. IMHO!

Calendra's Cistern, Patch level one, is now available at the following location:
(
http://homepage.altavista.com/thumpers_hideaway/) Thumper's Hideaway
There are three versions: everything except the movies (14.4MB), everything including the movies (32.1MB), and only the changed files (5.2MB).
Both movies (briefing and ending) are also available individually on The Circle at (
http://www.thief-thecircle.com/missions/silver/) Thief-TheCircle.com. The movies have not been changed and do not need to be downloaded. Note, calendra.txt will contain info on what to do if the level won't play because you don't have the movies.
Apologies for: an ugly download site.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gifThe download site mentioned above is temporary and will go away once The Circle has been updated. This post will be updated when it's available on The Circle.
What's new: lot's of bug fixes (I'll enumerate them later if anyone's interested), 5 new loot items to bring the non-gold loot total to 2150 (2 of these might be a little tricky to find

Someone please let me know you were able to download it and play it successfully.
Those of you who've had problems with the first release, I'd really appreciate it if you could check out this version when you have time. Thanks.
Now, I think I'll go find a hole to crawl inside.

Sorry. When I try to download it I only get about 638kb. When I look at it with Winzip it tells me that it is not a valid archive.
Thumper on 8/8/2000 at 19:09
Grrr. Thanks. I'll post again when it's fixed.

Blasted free web pages.
OK, I moved the file somewhere else. The link on the page above has been changed to point there.
It should work now.
UPDATE: It worked so well that I also uploaded the full mission w/ movies. The web page will be updated shortly. I'm not even going to look at the bill I get this month from my ISP.

Just an FYI, for the do-it-yourselfers with slow lines, I'm going to post a changed files only version a little bit later tonight.
