Well, I finished on "Normal". Whew!
Very Impressive. Small bugs & all, nowhere in any OM was this level of technical sophistication done. Following Mercedes around was a real stroke. If this doesn't get the First Ever Gold Hammer, then I don't know what they want.
Never did find a sword in-game. Although I would have liked one, I & Mercedes survived the ambush. Broadhead and fire arrow were enough.
Getting the Cylix from the monster in the well was an act of despiration. Nothing killed the damn thing, so I grabbed it and ran like hell. Made it to my waiting rope just in the nick of time. Man, that's a loooooooong way down.
Never found the fountain, the observatory, the explosives shop, or the pieces to the talking head. Might try this again on Hard.
Nice work CC Team.

I never found any of those things either. Except I *did* find the sword!

There are only a few open questions left to me now...

Spoilers ahead- one of the books mentions a "different looking wall in the rooms below the graveyard". I never found a different looking wall, and I think I searched the Keepers' rooms thorougly. (can't spell) I tossed the RTC detonation device in some suspicious places in the Keepers' rooms, without any success.
- can the Hammer temple be accessed? Climbing on the wall over the RTC exit-gate did bring me only into a small walled section.
- is there a way to defeat the invincable pet of C., the Zombie? Fire arrows did not hurt him a bit, nor did my friend do a bit.
- can the beast be killed?
- where does Dillan teleport to?
- is there a way into the Whitman house, as the diary of the witch mentioned?
- Tot says there is another way to open the safe of the art collector, besides the lights and the key (what he considers as cheating). Next time, I will blow the thing up.

Still, a very very funny mission that I love
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifIt was definitely more fun in the 0 damage + the help of a friend mode.

It was added after I left on vacation so I'm not quite sure of it's precise location but... I think you would feel lonely and forlorn in the right place.

No. Just decoration.

I suspect not since he's supposed finish off Brimstone.
- can the beast be killed?
Sure. There are four or five ways. The only thing that he's immune to is knockouts and KO gas. In those cases, he staggers around a bit to give you a second to realize it didn't work and you'd better get out of there before he shreds you.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifMy favorite way of dealing with him though is to steal the cylix with absolutely no help and never alerting him.

Dunno.

Another challenge for folks:
Hunt for the Liches. One is at the Lich gate. There are at least two more hidden around. There might be four more but I don't know if the other two were added (since I requested them after I left for vacation). I had plans for seven total but the rest may never get in unless we have another update.
Anyway, see how many you can find.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifBTW, the ones bordering the crypt don't count.

Thanks Thumper... (my replys in no particulary order)
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifHm... what a disappointment... and I had thought there was a fancy hammer temple around somewhere, totally unaccessable, but existant.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gifThe Whitman house... okay, you saved me from pushing other barrels around until I got mad.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gifI already *was* in the right place then... I checked it in dromed, sorry to say, but after 3 replays and 5 checks of those rooms I wouldn't have bothered with the search for the Keeper's door any longer.
... but it is important for me and my friend where Dillan goes to. We have a "date" with him.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gifAnd the safe... no clue. If the deto device is not supposed to blow it up ( = because the Keeper's door does really exist, as I found it in dromed), I have no further ideas of how to open the thing once the mechanism is broken.
I recall 2 Lich faces without thinking too much about it. Another possible spot for one of them has a plain yellow/orange texture rightnow, but the size would be matching.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gifThat means another replay, hehe
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifItem-hunting could also be fun. 3 gas arrows, right?

I've played it on normal and hard, I've been looking for the keepers door that you guys are talking about. Where is it? I haven't seen it yet, and I've been actively looking for it.
Will try to play it on Garrett tonight.

I need some help before I go nuts! I have searched Lord Alharzad's house from top to bottom several times, but can not locate the key to the chests. Please, where is it? Also, cannot find the observatory. Someone said to climb Hillspeak Museum's roof. I did this and saw some openings in the brick wall opposite but could not get to them. Is this the right place, and if it is how do you get to them? Other than this, the mission is a blast and I plan on playing it again. I found the explosives shop, sword, but not the fountain. Maybe next time.

Okay, I hate to be the first (And probably the only), but it's gripe time. There's one thing, that after the magic wears thin, keeps me coming back to missions like GatBar, that didn't keep me coming back to CC. It's too linear!!! I realized it halfway through my second sojourn into the mission. All the areas are visited in the same order, every time, and frankly, the inclusion of a few "secret areas" doesn't quite make up for the lack of replay value, for me, anyway. GatBar had a multitude of entrances and exits, and, while the architecture in CC is fantastic (Cleaner than the Architechture in the OM's BTW), it's the same thing every time, with no out of the way windows, no alternate routes (Aside from the attic in the part), and one inconsistency that became more obvious the more I played. WHY is there a beggar in what appears to be the most undertrafficked district in the City? A few NPC commoners walking the streets would have made for a much more believable experience. Also, the steam just "appearing" from the sewer grates had a little "What the..." factor to it, with no reason why steam is materializing out of the thin air in the party. But back to the linearity. There's really only one way through this mission, the way the designers intended, and THAT is what makes me reconsider my opinion of the mission achieving gold hammer standards. At most, I think it's a 4.5 Silver Hammer mission, SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very close, but falling short in a few areas that could have pushed it over the top.

Calendra Cistern, if Purah's team can't do it, who else can?
Hmm, that actually sounds very familiar.
Inline Image:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/smile.gifI actually thought CC is the only mission that can beat the standards. They used new models, new textures, new waves, and the architures are very nice. Maybe I should start playing it. But I heard there a spider in the level, so I guess I'll put a hold on it and work on my mission where it's a spider-free zone. So far, I love it. But I quicksaved into a dead-end. I'm in the beginning, in the shrine with the talking head. I knocked some guy name Whitler or something. There are three guys, one of them looks like a thief, other a gold man, and I forgot the other. Anyways, the 'thief' of the group is suspicous of me, so if I make the slightest sound, he will get alerted. Also, I remember picking up Whitler's body, and dropping it. That caused the three people to get alerted.
