so the game crashes when i start the first level. I've used the vista fix to deal with the NT problem, and i have turned off one of my CPU's.

i'm on XP professional, updated as much as possible.

it just crashes, no error message. the crash log is infinitely long... and i'm not, frankly THAT savvy.

any ideas? thanks!

InGroove2: I'm not sure, but perhaps you've encountered with a multi-core issue. You may read (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75031#hyperthread) TTLG's FAQ about this problem, or, if you wish, you may try (http://darkfate.ru/?show=files/misc_stuff/FlipTIB_v1.0.zip) that tiny utility (install it, then press Right Mouse Button on the game's shortcut and select "FlipTIB: Single-core mode").
