Cross posted from Thief General Discussion, by recommendation of peeps there.Hi there everyone, long time (occasional) lurker, and now I find myself needing a little info/help. I'm trying to create a Thief boardgame. I'm basing the rules system on an existing boardgame called (
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/12622) Hour of Glory- in a sense, it's like a boardgame 'total conversion'- most of the mechanics are already in place, but I'm stripping the game down to just two players (the original is 2-4), and adding in a bunch of more Thief-specific stuff.
In any event, I need some help. I need to create cardboard stand-ups for the game (garret, and guards/enemies/whatnot), and so need front (and hopefully rear, too) shots of all the models in T: DS (I prefer those because they were the best looking in the series). In a perfect world there'd be a gallery out there of at least frontal views of the models, extracted from the game (I'm not really counting on this, though). I am willing to put some work in, so if someone wants to help me by giving me directions to do this myself, I'm game. I think I just need to know how to extract the (skinned) models, and a usable freeware model viewer that I can take screenshots with.
And, it goes without saying that if anyone else is interested in the results, I'm willing to share.
Thanks in advance,

Hello, friend! :)
Finally I've got the time to answer you! At least me... Here in the forum it seems that individualism is prevailing... :p
Then, for what I know, I can help you in two ways:
1-) If you need of frontal view of any T3 models, you can download and install the T3 Editor, then learn to build a single box containing Garrett and the model in question, start the game and take a screenshot, just pressing the key "Print" (right to F12, over Ins) and paste it in Paint, or other graphic program, as Photoshop.
2-) If instead you need precisely of the skins of models, I know that there's a way with 3DS max, that it have to be modified with some stuff matched with T3 Editor (precisely the folder "Utility/Max").
If you succeed with that I've gave you, I'm very happy! :)
Otherwise I recommend you to contact in private via Nomad Of The Pacific, or Str8g8, both master designers and better knowers of Thied DS.
Lastly: I quote full your preference of Thief Deadly Shadows, great work, especially for Havok system.
