So is there anywhere else where the information at systemshock.org is repeated?
I just reinstalled SS2 and am trying to resolve the inventory use/shoot issue but all my google fu turns up are links to that site and "Guest browsing and registrations disabled due to bot attacks and related traffic problems. See you soon."
But I want to play System Shock 2 now!

each time you change your controls, you will have to edit user2.bnd (root ss2 folder) and fix the mouse related lines to look like this:

bind mouse2 frob_object_inv
SS2 Modmanager can do it automatically for you.

Unfortunately, the site was being seriously spammed by bots which were eating through the site's monthly bandwidth allowance, so Kolya has temporarily disabled guest access. Guest browsing should be re-enabled by the end of the month at the latest.

I tried to register for an account but was not able to do the email authentication. Every time I did it, it said it was sending an email but I waited over 24 hours and no email. Then today it started just saying
"An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry, registration is currently disabled."
But it's all good, I am playing SS2 as we speak.

Guest browsing has been re-enabled, but for the time being it requires you answer a simple question to prove that you are human first.
