Exceptional work as I`ve said earlier. And the best part is that the existing models look better in each new screenshot. How is it that your not working for a games company?
Thanks.
I'm trying to. Hopefully I could get work before the end of the year. In the meantime I practice and build up portfolio.
No there really was errors. And I forgot to include the .3ds baked versions. :tsktsk: the pack should replaced in few minutes.

I'm not at home or I'd check myself but is there supposed to be a bed or table or anything in those cryo recovery units behind the player when he starts the game? If not there ought to be. Looks quite vacant otherwise.
Very impressive video btw.

Digging the look of the new pipe, but maybe it should be a bit thicker? It looks like it would feel almost flimsy in your hands.
It's really awesome that you're doing this. :thumb:

I feel the pipe is a little thin too, a big and nasty pipe makes the usage all more fun.

In the original game the small rooms were painted onto the texture. If I would recreate these levels in a game I'd remove the wall between them and put the healing bed into there. Feels more logical and wouldn't affect gameflow anyway. The current position of the bed is quite disturbing.

Just watched the video. Very interesting. Strangely I felt like I was playing 7th Guest (old pc puzzle game) when watching it. Exact same camera movement style.
Heh, all movement is just smooth bezier. Never played 7th Guest myself.
I have just finished the textures in the second room. Few screenshots:

I decided to do these and all future renders with the ingame imitation settings. Sure the lighting could look better, but I think it's best to potray how they would look in modern game engine.
Now some real high-poly models, I'll start with these three since they are the first you'll see:
Healing Bed
Servbot
Dead surgeon

I'm not a fan of the light fixtures. The blue/white parts look nice, but whatever's supposed to be "behind" the glass just doesn't look right to me.
Digging it aside from that. Can't wait to see it with models.

The computer panels on the walls look a bit flat (since they are just textures, after all).
As I said in the other thread, one of the ideas I'd had for CCP was to make 3D objects specially designed to place in front of those walls, to make the computer screens and such 3D, rather than simply 'painted' onto the wall.
