I meant it crashed even with your french pack installed.
Maybe there's something related with my audio log problem with original CD + TTLG "Howto guide"

Oh okay, I'll check that. You know it usually crashes when you try changing languages but don't have the corresponding language pack. That's why I thought that happened to you.
Edit: French works fine here...and Rebecca Lansing sounds HAWT!!!

I'll try some of the other resolutions later. I'll see how it goes.

She's a generic voice actor, at that time she was used in a lot of anime/cartoons and cheap TV series :erg:

I fall for the false French of M.D., in fact I'd fall for every girl who even tries to pretend to speak French. Good enough for me. :D
Seriously I only heard a few secs of Lansing's first log. Je devine que j'ai été pris par surprise.
(Thank you little Babelfish.)

Is it just me, or do the French logs sound much better and serious than english ones...?

I tried 0.4 on another machine today, and it ran very well.

Thank you Drat, good to hear that. :)
Currently there is no development on SS-P. Any further improvements would need help of a programmer. I just dispatched a PM to ToxicFrog who'd be the most likely person to be able to help.

Incidentally, the machine it ran well on also showed the intro video in the middle of the screen, but then it did the same for the menu in Half-Life (which I assume is only 320x240 or whatever). It was a laptop, if that's any help. Unfortunately, it's just a machine that was at the place I happened to be today. I was really just seeing if it'd work.

astonishing work, kolya, thanks!
1024 works perfectly on my PC, 1280 always crashes though.
