Nope, not a hope in hell unless you could get Bochs or DosBox to run at a vaguely decent speed on the PSP.
Both work on the PSP, however it is more a case of Seconds per Frame than Frames per Second.

Meh... worth a try XD

It seems I introduced a bug with the latest version (v0.4b). Possibly related to deleting the dosdrv.exe I have very jerky mouse behavior now when using the resolution packs. The mouse gets stuck to a certain area for some time. I didn't notice that at first as I usually play at 640x480.
I'm working on finding a solution and posting an update.

Found a solution. It was just a setting in the PIF.
Exclusive mouse mode? Check!
Still you'll have to wait one more day for the next update as the resolution packs need an update too.
ToxicFrog (who did the highres patcher and SS1 editor) is supporting me on this one and I'm especially thankful for that. :)

Finally got version 0.5 out of the door. :D
I tested everything but as always things can go awry on another system. If that's the case please report here.

Hello Koyla,
Just testing this out. Excellent work piece of work I must say! One little problem though:
My graphics go all demented at 3 or 4 minute intervals! I'll play for 4 minutes then the screen goes mostly black but with some corrupted lines of display in the bottom half of the screen. The problem resolves itself after 20 seconds or so but then will happen again after a few more minutes play....
Computer: Win XP SP2, Dual Core Centrino 2500+, 1GB ram, NVIDIA GFGo7600
EDIT: Oh I'm using the 800x600 pack too.

From an Admin account: Backup your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\vga.sys
Then run the "nVidiaGeForce4_winxpfix.exe".
I don't know why this fix was named "...Geforce4" because from what I learned lateley the problem it fixes can occur with any nVidia card.
But yeah, try that.

No joy Kolya :(
The whole screen corrupts now instead of just the half of it! Dammit. Any other ideas?
Kolya on 21/9/2006 at 17:23
Sorry, I don't have much other ideas. First reinstate your vga.sys, then you may try with newer graphic drivers. All I can think of.
Wait, what happens when you play at 640x480?

I have one question about this program though, is this the ENTIRE SS1? including videos and everything?
