Here are some people complaining about the censorship over at the IS forums. It's hilarious!

Interesting, after reading this thread I went to the IS board immediately to check this "Fascism" out, but then it seems most of the valid complaints and negative comments are still intact there. By valid I mean not some threads full of "Spector is a JERK", or "F**K IS AND DUMBOX" things...

it has become like gamefaqs over there. and yet i can't help but feel there keeping all the dodgy threads to make all the complainers look like muppets. (ooh conspiricy)

What I think is more likely is that they're finally putting an end to all the repetitive threads people keep making with points against the demo that have been repeated ad nauseum a hundred damn times. About time they started cleaning up redundant threads, says I!

unfortunately after you've got rid of all those posts, it's nothing but F*uck you spector all the way. I for one would rather see discussions about old topics than nothing but purile insults.

Considering that The Duggler and bloodstorm are the worst troublemakers on the forum, I'm not surprised.

IS forums started to deteriorate immeadiately when the demo was released and has reached it's point awhile ago. Even though some well-reasoned and rightly critical posts have been deleted, I can see why it happened. The posters themselves are to blame. On another forum I frequently visit, people making threads as mentioned above would be kicked out or given some serious warning points at once= the forum is well moderated. Sometimes harsher measures could be used here as well:rolleyes:

All this rambling about the IS DX2 forum being censored is hogwash and overreaction. They're only cracking down on flaming, name-calling, and trolling, as any respectable forum would do. They're not deleting all negative posts about the game. There are still plenty of posts to be read from unhappy people with negative things to say. In fact, the majority of them are still what I would call negative.

Then major props to Bethesda or whomever is running The Elder Scrolls forums. The things said re DE:IW pale in compariosn to those said re Morrowind.
