Actually I am surprised they waited this long to start censoring any negative comments about Ion Storm or DX:IW.
CATMAN as he/she is called is now on a rampage on the IS forums removing any comment that is even remotely negative about IS or IW.
Just to get a feel for how ridiculous it is - Catman deleted a thread that was simply asking why so many topics were being deleted or closed. WTF? Then in another topic that is discussing the possibility of Eidos pushing IS to get the game out - Catman decided to show up and say that the thread had degenerated into crap even though there was no flaming or anything, and closed it. All I can say is that someone at IS had enough and called in the public relations clean up crew.
What I love is that they have the nerve to turn around and then tell us that they really care about us and what we think.
If only people were smart enough to realize that they only care about what you think as long as it agrees with them. :tsktsk:

With all the immature talk by some of the ION forum users I'm not surprised. When a thread have several posts with inappropriate language, calling eachother idiots or much worse, then deleting a whole thread is far easier than deleting lots of posts. Cause if you looked it up more closely, then you should know have noticed that threads with more "friendly" demo views have ended up deleted aswell. We have noone to blame but the people who write idiot or whatever they now write. It's not a nice place to be in, thanks to the more immature people. Especially two forumusers comes to my mind, and I wonder why they aren't banned yet when they do nothing but write "idiot" or much worse to the people who doesn't agree with them. In the end, it's no wonder that negative threads regarding IS are deleted, since they are in a vast majority right now.
It's a shame really. Every official gaming forum have it's best time before the game is actually released. *sigh*

If you can believe it - I think the situation is a lot worse than I previously mentioned. It seems that now there is a zero tolerance policy. So anything that says anything bad about IS, IW or even questions them gets deleted or closed.
Some guy simply asked why the devs haven't answered the big questions that have been asked and he got deleted in like 5 minutes.
Scary and sad stuff. :tsktsk:
And for the record: Even posts with no bad words or flaming have gotten deleted or closed so it's not just to stop the flamers - it's to censor any and everything negative towards IS and IW.

As far as I'm concerned the vast majority of flames are started by two people alone. I can't really understand why they aren't banned yet. But that's not for me to decide.
And I'm not surprised that a thread named "Six Big Cocks Attacking A Huge Wet Pussy!!!" is deleted. I see nothing wrong with deleting bad threads. It was there an hour ago, and now it's not and I'm happy with that.

Much as I'd like to help out the place won't let me in since the change over.

Like I have already said:
All negative threads are being deleted and not just the stupid or flaming ones. I gave examples for a reason.
There is nothing wrong with someone asking why the devs haven't answered this or that question, but it got censored anyway!

Just make a new account and then click on the link at the very bottom of the email. IT is a little misleading cause they have a link at the top of the email, but it doesn't do anything.
If you already made an account just find the email they sent you and click on that link at the bottom.

The problem is the password mails never come. Making new accounts produces the same problem; activation mails never come. Even with the moderator manually sending the activation mail, it never comes. 'tis most perplexing.

Well, I'm not buying it anyhow. I think they'll do the same exact thing for DX III.:p

I've been having exactly the same problem. I tried starting new accounts with four different email accounts. Finally, MsLedd turned my Azal@TTLG.com redirect into a proper PHP email and the registration email came through immediately.
from what others have been saying, I think ISA is only sending the emails out to American addresses - or only addresses without a country code.
