Looks like a VR version of System Shock Remake is in development. Trailer doesn't show much VR-specific gameplay, but it seems like a good fit!

Given that the SS1's cover art was literally a cyborg elite guard wearing a helmet with lenses that looks pretty similar to a VR headset, it would be thematically appropriate. Also, SS1's original HUD readouts might actually make more sense in VR, but I guess the remake streamlined a lot of that out.

It does feel particularly suited to VR. I'm just glad that I kept putting off playing this on the flatscreen.
