As ZB mentioned, yes, that is traditionally how it works. Presents, food, etc. all come on the 25th, although my parents always cook a special shrimp dinner for Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas, all! I doubt I'll find time to play SS2 today, but I probably will sometime between now and the 3rd (which is when I head back to school).

I'm under the impression that at least in the US Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December, opening of presents in the morning of that day.
Anyway, I got a 1Terabyte external drive, lots of cool clothes and a record player with an USB port. (I got quite a few records.)
Here in Sweden we celebrate christmas the 24:th of december. Now lets see what i got, a bread toaster, cook book, some marsipan, 100 euro and... thats it.

Technically, over here is also on the 25th, since presents are only opened after midnight.

Same practice here in OZ. Presents, food, celebrating etc all on the 25th.
