Looking great!

Looks like it's shaping up to be more of a horror game than the original. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as far as I'm concerned.

Personally, I love how shiny it is! :D

It's about the right amount of shiny for two minutes.
For eight hours, I'd be wanting less shiny.

I have no idea if they'll include a remastered/remixed version of the original soundtrack (whoever doesn't like it could always turn it off) or if they'll use a soundtrack like the one in this video. This one reminds me too much of Bioshock.

This is stunning. I hope it is a blockbusting seller (in terms of the budget they put in) and SS2 gets the same treatment. Hype train is leaving the station!

Agreed. Bioshock had a similar glowy sheen which suited it because it made things look a bit damp. Things really shouldn't look damp on a space station.
Only other thing that bothered me was the pipe, it looks suitably hefty (which is good) but I'd like more windup before striking, it seemed a little too immediate. Aside from that it looked great. I'm really looking forward to it.

They really need to tone down the effects. However, it is impressive that the original architecture is translated so faithfully. Everything is perfectly recognisable as the exact little corner of Citadel it was in the original, almost texture-to-texture.
