it's kind of the same thing in this case - they were going to rework pretty much everything from day one, and it's not like they'll change the story or anything like that. they are just marketing it differently.
the (worst) thing that can happen is that they'll add more rpg elements, ingame currency & replicators, change quests and stuff like that. not too hyped about that of course, but if the final product works smoothly..

Yes, I really hope the rename is just for marketing reasons and they don't actually plan to change anything significant.

I pretty much always turn it off anyway unless it's creepy stalker-style stuff (or thief, obviously). Kinda puts me off. But I'm sure there will some, and it's likely you'll be able to sub the old tracks in if you want.
