Which of the two versions of System Shock 1994 do you prefer? The original or Enhanced Edition? Alternatively System Shock Portable.

I prefer the original myself, but that's because I've been playing it since it came out and I'm too used to it. If you haven't played it before, then I think that the EE or SSP would be better options for you.

Have you played through this version? What are the differences? Which version do you prefer the best?

I like Shockolate, but I'm still waiting/hoping whey will get modern resolutions going soon..ish. 1024x768 max really isn't that great.
once they do, Shockolate is going straight into SSP.

This is really cool. I realized that if I replaced the demo files in the RES folder, I could run the full version of SS with Shockolate. I'm going to do a full playthrough with it and see if I encounter any bugs

yes, as mentioned in the systemshock.org topic, you can swap the resources with the System Shock Classic files, and play the full game.

freshly compiled x64 exe now attached to the systemshock.org topic, direct drop in if you are running the shareware package, or the shareware package upgraded to full.
