Let's just hope Otherside can find another publisher and stay in business long enough to finish SS3.
I'm still hopeful, but not optimistic. I was disappointed when I heard that Sheldon Pacotti left Otherside, and disappointed again with the concept art. And now the publisher who was funding a (sizeable?) chunk of the development files for bankruptcy. Haven't seen much good news since the original annoucement.

True. Need some news. Something.

Yeah, considering it was announced in December of 2015 (!), shouldn't we know a little bit more about it at this point?

It's not like Warren Spector to spend more than three years on a game.

Kinda weird to post old news directly subsequent to the original discussion.

I didnt see the Twitter thread posted here or any mention of the game being more than halfway complete. Figured that would somewhat answer the above questions.

SS3 and UA are being worked on by completely different teams.
Maybe if this fact is repeated a few hundred more times people will eventually understand it.
No fucking shit. They still have the same company management, muppet.

Wow. Clearly the three weeks it took you to craft that response were well-spent, nerf herder.
Underworld Ascendant was developed by Otherside Boston. System Shock 3 is being developed by Otherside Austin. For day-to-day operations they are, for all practical purposes, under completely separate management.
Also, psst... Daikatana and Deus Ex were also made under the same "management".
