No need to use Mod Manager. All you need is to unpack the files into your SS2 install folder, as long as SS2 is mod-ready, and SHTUP will work.
Yes, I know, but I always prefer to use mod manager.
Now works... after rebooting the system.

That's what I want:
w = Walk
shift+w = run
Ctrl+w = slow walk
I can do that just before the patch but not now. If I set "w" for "walk" the real result is "slow walk".
I see what you mean. I never use walk in SS2, so I didn't notice it. What this means is that we actually have four different speeds: Run, walk (shift + run), slow walk, and REALLY slow walk (when you use shift + slow walk).

What a pity! I love walk by default ("w" key only), otherwise it's a little incomfortable for me and I lose a big part of immersion.

I only find two keys:
Run forward (first one)
Walk forward (second one).
And there is the toggle speed key.
So, I use W for walking and SHIFT+W for running. Where is the other key for low speed?. I can find that key in Thief, but not SS2.
And I have tested that in another copy of SS2 installed in a computer with W98. Only original patch installed.

"Speed toggle" key doesn't work. Actually it's a hold key. And "Walk forward" key actually it's the "creep" or "slide" key. Maybe those are fuzzy errors, but remain errors ultimately.

As someone asked in another forum, why is Thief, well, Thief 1/Gold/2 getting all the attention? They are very good games indeed, but I think that System Shock 2 is so much better. Mind you, I so rarely see SS2 (or SS1) being discussed that I suppose it's not surprising that the SS2-related side of the amazing discovery is being so largely ignored.
Anyway, the SS2 version of the patch is discussed at (
http://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=4128.0) (a very good sight for System Shock 1 and 2 files and discussions).

I've been following various other forums discussing these patches, and there seems to be overall more discussion of SS2 than of Thief.

Because most of the people who still post regularly on TTLG are Thief fans. The System Shock community here seems to have either moved to systemshock.org or just vanished entirely. :(
SS2 is still getting a fair amount of discussion on other sites.

I would also suspect that a lot of it here is due to the fan mission community. There are loads of things in the patch notes that seem to help editors and unfortunately there just aren't as many people here who create fan missions for SS2 (to put it mildly). Optimistically it might encourage people to create missions for SS2 - I know I was put off last time I tried shocked.
